We had a lovely five day holiday at The Cliff Hotel. John and Rosaline were excellent hosts. Johns culinary skills are great, although for his generous portions are a little too much for me. Every one else cleared their plates. Our dog Millie was made so welcome. Thank you all at the cliff for a lovely break

Yet again we have had a great five days stay here. Everytime that we come we get such a warm welcome from proprietors Rosalind and John. The hotel is welcoming and homely with some amazing views between the houses across the road. We were hear for B&B and evening meal. Breakfast is superb with adequate choice for everyone. The evening...

Fab location, just 200 metres from the roaring Atlantic Ocean. Quite a quirky little place, decor is a bit tired but it has a definite charm all the same. Owners are really nice folks, and for that alone I'd recommend the Cliff Hotel to anyone. Will return.

We usually stay in caravans self catering so this was a bit of a break from the norm for us. We couldn't have picked a nicer place. Really friendly, great location, clean and a great cooked breakfast! My 4 1/2 year old handful of son thoroughly enjoyed his stay, he was made to feel special. Also, Rosalind did an Easter...

We stayed for a short break with John and Rosalind, there two children and two dogs. From the moment we arrived we and our two dogs were made welcome and at home. Although the accommodation is a little dated in terms of decor and the en-suite facilities in the upstairs rooms without proper shower, this is more than made up...

Stayed recently with family, our fourth visit in around two years. The hotel is still as clean and tidy as it always has been and our hosts John and Rosalynd were charming. The special thing that makes this hotel stand out is that they do go out of their way to help. As an example, on our first night I...

I cannot praise this hotel enough. I took a walking group of 15 people there and it was first rate in every way. The hotel was very clean, extremely friendly with most pleasant staff, served excellent food and in a perfect location for walking right by the cliff path. Not only that, but the cost of our 3 night stay...

John and Rosalind (and their staff) are so friendly and helpful, I heve been there three years in a row and look forward to coming back next year (God willing) come as a guest, leave as a friend may sound like a cliche to you, but to me it sums up...

We booked last minute for the last weekend of August so were limited in choice, but really lucked out with The Cliff Hotel at Bude. The owners were lovely. Pros: Good location for crooklets beach where you can swim, bodyboard and surf etc with lifeguards present. Within walking distance of Bude. Right next to the coastal path if you enjoy...
