We have just arrived today and we already love it here! What a gem! We are so happy we have found this wonderful place. The rooms are gorgeous, modern and absolutely spotless. So comfortable and the attention to detail is fantastic. Lots of little touches and amenities that make your stay even better and are greatly appreciated when you are travelling. The property is beautifully landscaped and you can sit outside and enjoy the tranquility. The hosts are so friendly, welcoming and very helpful. This is a perfect base to explore North Cornwall.

This has to be the most comfortable b&b we have ever stayed in. We have stayed here a few times and can honestly say the welcome is so warm and friendly. The rooms are spacious and airy with your own outdoor seating area. Toppesfield House is a bungalow so all is on one level which is great. Bathroom is spacious and we love the rain head shower, just envious about the water pressure, wish ours was like this at home! The breakfast choices are really good with a range of juices, yogurts and cereals, fresh fruit salad and a wide choice of hot food. Location is great for heading to Bude or further north, and for heading south maybe to Padstow/Tintagel or Boscastle. Karen and Paul are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble. They have great suggestions for places to visit or for dinner. We can highly recommend staying here, just give me 5 mins to make my booking first!

We had the most wonderful 5 night stay at this beautiful B and B. Karen and Paul were great hosts and were never too busy to chat and advice on places to visit and eat. The room (3) was beautifully presented, and included many little extra to make your stay more welcoming - like the Tea/Coffee making equipment (including a Nespresso machine) and a couple of Quality Street each day. Slippers/dressing gowns were also provided. The en-suite bathroom was spacious and included toiletries. There was also a great, covered outdoor space to chill. Lots of choices for breakfast, fruit, yogurt, kippers, salmon and eggs along with the Full English, of course. An Honesty bar was also provided with prices very reasonable. We highly recommend this lovely accommodation. We will definitely return when we are visiting the area again. Thank you Karen and Paul for sharing your lovely home.

The beds are very comfortable, the rooms beautifully designed and the bathroom very modern. We enjoyed the own patio which is a nice add on. The breakfast is very delicious and even if one is not a huge fan of English breakfast - it’s a very good one!

Large and clean rooms, with very comfortable beds, fridge, smart TV etc. and even a veranda so you can sit outside if you want. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Hospitality with a capital H! Located only a few miles from the beach at Widemouth Bay and the town of Bude. Many other places worth visiting within driving distance. Large choice of very good breakfasts. We stayed here with our two 20 year old sons, and had a great time!

We stayed for 6 nights at this fantastic, luxury B&B. The room, top spec bathroom and fittings, plus all the extras like the fridge, slippers, dressing gowns, toiletries, really made our stay so special. Our room was so well appointed with patio doors leading out onto a seating area with chairs. Karen had added thoughtful touches such as chair cushions for the comfort of enjoying the outside space with a glass of wine, which we did more than once! The room was kept beautifully clean, beds made daily and changed frequently. The breakfast, which we always chose full English, was superb every day. It was my Husband’s birthday whilst we were there and, although we hadn’t said anything that morning, Karen had seen the cards when she cleaned the room. She left a card from her and Paul and put two small Proseccos in the fridge, along with champagne flutes on the dressing table. Just another example of how thoughtful Karen is. Not to leave Paul, Karen’s Husband out though. He was also so lovely and genuine, making suggestions for places to visit to make the most of our first trip to Cornwall. So, would we recommend Toppesfield House Luxury B&B? We most certainly would. And would we return? In a heartbeat. Thank you so much Karen and Paul.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay, our host Karen was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was to a high standard, had everything you need plus a few little extras such as fruit tea, slippers and more. The cleanliness was also to a high standard and we appreciated having our room serviced each day. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding was fresh and soft. We enjoyed having our own private patio (another great touch). There was a huge selection of Breakfast itema and was served promptly each day. We are defiantly hoping to return again soon :).

This is a wonderfully appointed B&B a few minutes drive outside Bude. There are currently 2 modern, large bedrooms with king size beds, fridge, a beautiful shower room and especially nice is the individual covered patio that allows you complete privacy from other guests whilst looking over the rolling countryside. Everything about the property is ideal, such as the off road parking and dedicated door to the bedrooms so you can come and go as you please without bothering the owners. Talking of the owners Karen and Paul, they are fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable hosts with lots of experience in managing B&B's and they both have a very easy going personality and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are great with a choice of hot or cold options, and which are freshly cooked to order. Just a little tip, if you want to book (and you'd be silly not too!), call Karen directly and ask whether there is any discount available. This is what we did and it paid for a meal out and a glass of wine or two! We highly recommend this B&B.

This is a true “hidden” gem of a B&B in beautiful Bude. Karen was the hostess with the mostest, we stay there for 6 nights, but, I am already missing not staying there.. She thought of everything, from the delicately placed toiletries in the large, comfortable shower room to the thoughtfulness of a bottle of milk and a couple of bottles of water in the cutest fridge.. She had a variety of breakfast choices from the healthy to the heart warming full English, the salmon on scrambled eggs was one of best I have had and that is a massive accolade.. Though it’s a family run B&B, you didn’t feel you were on top of the family as the guests had there own separate entrance from the car park.. Thanks once again Karen for a lovely stay, we are planning our next visit.. Barbara & Roy Fairbrass..
