We stayed in early March and were very impressed, it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Even though it is close to the town centre it is tucked away with fantastic walks near by. We plan to stay again

Warm friendly welcome. Offered delicious cream tea on arrival. Room spacious and very well equipped. Lounge upstairs dedicated for use of guests. Great position for touring local area. Quiet of countryside, but only 10 minute walk into Bude along cycle route on former railway track. Great breakfast. Would definitely return.

On arrival we were greeted by Carol who was extremely welcoming showing us into the Garden suite which was light and very well furnished with modern fittings including a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. We were asked if we would like a cream tea which was served in 10 minutes upstairs in a beautiful lounge with stunning views of the countryside. We also enjoyed the location being within easy reach of the cycle path which led to the town centre via the canal and nature research. Both nights we enjoyed good food and drink at the local Hotel and Restaurant both recommended by Carol. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at Bagbury and look forward to visiting again in the future and also would recommend to friends and family.

Carol the owner made us very welcome and gave us a delicious cream tea soon after we arrived. The guests lounge has lovely views over the surrounding countryside and even a rocking chair and binoculars are there to help enjoy the view. Our comfortable room had nice extras like fresh milk in a small silent fridge, a selection of different teas and home made cakes which all help to make the stay more pleasant. we had delicious breakfasts while we were there and nothing was too much trouble for Carol. the B&B is on a farm in a very quiet rural location. The walk to Bude takes around 15 minutes and the path is next to a canal and through a nature reserve, its convenient if you want a drink or two at one of the pubs in Bude which also serve food. We really enjoyed our stay and i would be very happy to go back.

Just back from fantastic stay at Bagbury Byre. I honestly can't rave enough about this b&b! My partner and I stay in hotels frequently with work so were a bit unsure about booking a b&b especially with a 2 year old however we were made feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived.
We stayed in the garden room which was ideal as it had a separate bedroom. Carol very kindly made up the cot for our little one which was a very nice touch. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you can want or need including some fresh milk in the fridge every day.
Breakfast was amazing and the table was always made up with high chair, cutlery and Placemat for our little girl.
We can't wait to go back as it is such an amazing place and Carol is a fantastic host!
Thanks for making our stay so stress free, Adam Gillian and Olivia x

Being very particular about where we stay we found Bargbury Byre in a beautiful setting, with beautiful accommodation, absolutely spotlessly clean, the most warm, welcoming, fantastic hospitality and delicious food.

We were warmly welcomed by Carol upon arrival and to a wonderful cream tea. We stayed in the garden suite which was wonderful, very clean and nice décor. Great for families, our teenage son had his own room (with two bunk beds) and we had a nice sized double bed. Nice, contemporary bathroom and mini-refrigerator/counter area stocked with homemade biscuits, water, and tea. Nothing was too much trouble, when Expedia did not pass on the message that I am gluten free, Carol went out of her way in the evening just to get gluten free bread and biscuits. The breakfast was fantastic, above and beyond the normal "traditional English" breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here. Nice walking path into town in good weather (I had a great run on it early in the morning).

Wonderful B&B - would definitely recommend. Warm cottage feel to the room, clean and had everything we needed. Carol was very welcoming and the breakfast was faultless. Near to the town but somewhat rural location, allowed for lovely views. Great recommendations for our short visit to ensure we made the most of it.

We chose this b&b because of the wonderful reviews and weren't disappointed. Close enough to Bude but out in the countryside - the best of both worlds. Received a warm welcome from Carol and had the best cream tea of the week on arrival (and believe me, we tried a few). Room was clean, comfortable and had everything (and more) we needed. What can we say about the breakfasts except excellent! Would definitely recommend this b&b - the best we have ever stayed in. Thank you Carol for making us so welcome.

It's the second time my friend and I have stayed here on our annual South West coast path trip. The Garden Room we stayed in is amazing, wit beautiful bathroom and comfy beds. Homemade scones great you on arrival, and other homemade goodies await in your room. The breakfast is fantastic, and Carol goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. This B&B is the best we have encountered on our trip, and we have been to a few, all in the same price bracket. Carol gives attention to detail in a way we have not found elsewhere. Highly recommended.
