Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Decide to do something different for Christmas this year. We had stayed in Heath Lodge in the summer and booked for our return. The lodge was decorated for Christmas which was a great surprise. We had everything we need, Chris and Jen were around if we need them. Great Christmas experience, hot tub used everyday during our stay. If anyone visits for Christmas you have to take part in the Christmas Day swim at Crocklets beach, what an experience. Thanks again Willow Valley already booked our return

Perfect location only 5 mins away from Bude town and the beach! Really cosy hut, with a toasty electric fire and clean facilities on site! Lovely hosts who even left us a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge! Thank you again! Highly recommend!

4th visit and already planning our next one. Cannot fault our experience each time with such amazing hosts. There if you need them but leave you to enjoy otherwise. Willow valley really is a special spot. Area wise, we love to walk to Preston gate in and have a roast dinner and come back to hot tub for further relaxation. Bude is 45-50 min walk which we enjoy doing with the dog too. Cannot wait for our next visit, thank you !!!

We decided on a last minute break to Cornwall, and while researching, stumbled across this little gem. Easy booking process, received booking confirmation via email We arrived a little earlier than our check in time, and were warmly welcomed by Jen, she showed us to Heath Lodge where we were stayed for 2 nights. Brief explanation of things, then left us to it.. (absolutely perfect) On arrival the hot tub was already heated up and ready to use! wonderful, as a lot of places, you have to wait until the next day for it to fully heat up.. and the owners had thoughtfully left a bottle of Prosecco and some cookies.. which was really kind. The Lodge was warm, welcoming and very clean, plenty of utensils, bowls, glasses, cutlery etc, toilet roll, washing up liquid, and even hand wash! 10/10. Just missed not having a toilet brush.. Comfy beds, great shower, and wonderful hot tub.. which we used several times this was checked by Chris.. we are gonna miss Darly Duck!! :-) The site was lovely, peaceful and is well maintained .. both Chris and Jen, do a wonderful job, looking after the site, and their customers. they are the sort of people you like instantly, and will do their best to make sure you have an enjoyable stay... There is a Morrisons superstore, which is only 2 miles away on the outskirts of Bude town centre.. we loved our visit to Bude as well, nice and quiet as it's November.. We felt well rested after a stressful few months of working in a care home. We will definitely return to Willow Valley.

We recently stayed at Willow Valley Holiday Park for the first time, and it definitely won’t be our last! We stayed in the Helyk Lodge which was beautiful and cosy. The private garden with hot tub was amazing and we all loved it including our 6 year old! The owners are really friendly and it is clear they care about their park very much, it is so tidy and welcoming. The location is also brilliant. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to return!

Willow Valley is a beautiful site, the owners are so friendly and helpful and really go the extra mile. We stayed in the farmhouse and it was so homely and warm and perfect for our stay. Hot tub and outside areas all clean and amazingly maintained too. Couldn’t recommend more

We stayed in a wooden chalet, in late October, we cooked our own dinner in the oven, everything we needed was provided, it was only sausage eggs and chips so not too complicated! We were warm and cosy, we had a quiet nights sleep, the beds were very comfy, there was plenty of hot water. Its a small friendly site with a mix of accommodation, would love to try the bus or the shepherds hut or in the summer the Yurts look fun, lovely setting. close to road though so not completely rural, and some of the terrain was quite steep and rough - I'm not sure how far you could explore, but it was quite wet so I wasn't too adventurous, however i thought it was great and we will be back - dog friendly too! Greatful to find somewhere that was reasonably priced as I feel a lot of places in the area are seriously overpriced, so its still affordable and very worth it.

Spacious lodge for a family of four. Plenty of room for cooking, eating, playing games and watching movies together. Everything you would need, lovely decor and clean. Lots of private outdoor space too. Loved the covered seating area and hot tub. We had a nosey at the other accommodation on site which also looked great. Great location for exploring. Short drive to supermarkets. Hope to return!
