Quirky Hotel, with free parking, in centre of Bude. Excellent views from rooms, which were clean and cosy. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. We felt perfectly at home on our three night stay and very much hope to stay again on our next visit to Bude.

The hotel is in a perfect location- you’re only a few minutes walk away from Summerleaze beach and close to all the restaurants in town. The room is fairly basic but perfectly nice. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. It’s a good hotel if you’re looking for a beach/surfing holiday.

Excellently positioned hotel with parking outside the door. Room was well proportioned and clean with a great view. Corridors are quite narrow but sufficient. We visited whilst still under some Covid restrictions so did not use bar and the restaurant was closed. The hotel met our needs although a tad pricey.

My husband and myself stayed here for 6 nights the location is great and the staff were great too, yes the hotel is tired and the lift wasn't working we where on the second floor and the stairs were narrow and for anyone with mobility problems would have been a problem but on the positive the hotel had just been bought the week before by new owners and we were advised that things were starting to get fixed the Lift is a necessity and things like the ice machine although they did have ice they bought in for guests for the bar, the breakfast was well stocked with all you needed for a start to the day ok it wasn't a cooked breakfast but we had already received notification of this so we were not disappointed, as long as the upgrade does go ahead as planned and the great staff stay this could be one of the best places to stay in the future just make sure before you book that the lift is working coz if that still broke this hotel is not getting TLC it needs to be value for money it will not survive and great location & great staff alone
