The hosts were some of the most welcoming people that we have ever met! The rooms and the dining hall were extremely cosy and nicely furnished. This is the perfect place to stay during a quiet and calm weekend getaway!

We received a very warm welcome from Sheila and were shown to a very comfy and clean room with a lovely woody decor. Ken was very helpful and gave us a card giving us 10% discount off our food bill in nearby restaurants (Snakecatcher informed us the discount was only for food and not drinks so do check). We had a lovely stay and the breakfast was delicious and plenty! Would really recommend and would stay there again when we go next.

As soon as we entered The Blacksmiths House we felt welcomed. Our room was Ducking Stool, bright and cosy , comfortable bed and excellent shower. There were homemade cakes in the dining room for us to help ourselves, and fresh milk in the fridge to make hot drinks in our room. our hosts were friendly and most interesting to talk to. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. There were books to read in the hall, and masses of information on the surrounding areas. The B&B is close to the station and ideal for visiting the New Forest. There were a large number of places to eat within walking distance.

ear Guest. It is with great regret that due to ill health Sheila and I have had to close down the Bed and Breakfast. We have had two and a half years of great fun living in such a lovely area and meeting such lovely people, some of which have become life long friends. We are very proud of our guest reviews, we have spent a lot of money upgrading things obviously hoping they where going to be long term investments. Sadly that is not to be the case now. But lastly we would like to say a big thank you to every body all our friends local and all our past guests. Kind Regards. Ken and Sheila.

We had a great time staying in this lovely B&B close to the station and many restaurants and pubs in Brockenhurst. The proximity to the station (where one can also catch the open top bus tour) made this a great base for exploring the New Forest (and the Isle of Wight where we spent one day). Owners were friendly. Breakfast was yummy. Rooms were comfy and clean.
