We splashed out for this b&b to have a baby moon away before our little bump arrives and it ticked every box. The hosts were so welcoming and had thought of every detail. We stayed in the Brightiff suite which was large and beautifully furnished. It has an ensuite with a bath and lovely products like having a private spa....

We spent a brilliant weekend staying at Daisybank. Cheryl and Ciaran were so welcoming. We stayed in the Brightiff which is a lovely big room with an equally large bathroom, The bed was huge and very comfortable with great pillows - something that often lets a place down. There is so much attention to detail - Nespresso machine in the...

OK so I haven't stayed in every B&B but the face that Cheryl and Ciaran go the extra mile in every respect means this title is justified! The bedrooms are not just big with everything you could need but lots of little extras too! The Nespresso machine, the fresh milk, your welcome cup cakes, the local chocolate, the locally made...

We have just returned from the most wonderfully relaxing stay at Daisybank Cottage. Ciaran and Cheryl were lovely hosts; attentive, kind and knowledgable, and a special mention to Pumpkin, the gorgeous, friendly cat. We stayed in the Marryat Suite. The room was beautiful, very generously proportioned, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was huge, extremely comfortable with high quality...

I would describe Daisybank as home away from home, but better. I say that because I'm meticulous at home and when I have guests I try to anticipate everything they possibly need--so no awkwardness finding they haven't got something as they're getting in the shower, or being too shy to say they don't like the food when they had no...

Booked Daisybank Cottage as a weekend break with my wife. Ciaran and Cheryl are fantastic hosts and so friendly. Ciaran also went out of his way to drop us to a local hotel. The breakfasts are wonderful and the rooms are top class with all the amenities you need. Great stay.
