Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely self-contained cottage, beautifully appointed and very cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great breakfast and helpful hosts. Just wish we could have stayed longer! Did not get a chance to try the sauna, but it was very appealing!

We had a lovely weekend break at Daisybank cottage. Our room was beautiful, had everything we could have wanted, and there was a very relaxing atmosphere created. Breakfast was delicious! We were in Marryat room which we would particularly recommend. Very hospitable hosts, and we followed recommendations for walks and places to eat out which we also really enjoyed. Highly recommend a trip here!

Beautiful room with area to sit outside and huge bathroom area - all very nice and really friendly staff and owners - we had a lovely breakfast and just felt relaxed and it was easy to find where things were with maps and advise from the B&B.

Very welcoming hosts. Very good location, especially if you travel by car. Excellent facilities, huge bed, fantastic linen, the room feels fresh and airy. Appreciate the living room and a wood burner. Excellent water pressure, and lovely toiletries. What we did not like - there was no body lotion, and we could hear our neighbors from the next room, especially in the living room and the bathroom. There was a considerable noise from the passing train on Friday, though we did not hear it on the weekend. Nice looking bath, but I really do not like plastic curtains.

A warm welcome awaited us with a spacious room equipped with table and chairs for breakfast in our room if we wished. We enjoyed our breakfast in the breakfast room. A super comfy bed, en-suite with bath and shower. A wonderful choice of breakfast with allergies catered for. Especially good for Gluten free. Each room with a fridge with fresh milk provided for our tea and coffees. Hosts are are so helpful and friendly. We so enjoyed our stay in this peaceful location.

Lovely, peaceful room that was absolutely spotless with a private entrance and little garden. A VERY comfortable bed and a generous provision of tea, coffee and decaf coffee in stylish crockery. It was novel and relaxing to have breakfast delivered to the door, the scrambled eggs snd salmon were delicious. The host greeted us on arrival and was on hand, should we have needed anything. It was a birthday present for my partner, who thoroughly enjoyed the weekend stay. Thank you.

I can’t speak highly enough of our long weekend at Daisybank. It was perfect. Everything from the beautiful room, amazing breakfast, warm welcome and all the love for our little dachshund Zippy who loved sneaking into the kitchen at breakfast time to beg for scraps. Thank you so much for a wonderful bank holiday weekend
