My partner took me for a week nights trip for my birthday! We loved every minute of it. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome! I can highly recommend trying a gin and tonic with the local gin! As part of the hotel you get use of the spa which was just brilliant! The ground...

I never write hotel reviews, good or bad, but felt compelled to feedback on my experience at New Park Manor. The food was faultless (living in London we have excellent restaurants in abundance) but the food here was beyond expectations. Everything was so fresh, beautifully presented and from what we can gather, carefully sourced. We would have loved to met...

Our second visit to New Park and it had been a while so time for an update. First of all, hats off to the staff, who are really fantastic. (One example of many: we had a minor problem with our shower, front of house asked when we were out and when we got back it was fixed). The nursery and...

This was a quick one night break while travelling in the area. It was wonderfully friendly. Kids and Dogs all catered for. They couldn't do more for us. A tasty light supper and great glass of wine in the lounge with the dog. Comfy and clean room. Fantastic swim in the morning. Leisurely breakfast then a long walk in the...

I booked a spa day and afternoon tea for myself and a friend. Despite booking with very short notice the staff were very amenable and accommodating. The spa itself has a good range of facilities and is very reasonably priced compared to the majority of other spas in the area. The highlights would be the outdoor hot tub which overlooks...

I chose to stay at New Park Manor as we have a 8 week old baby and the thought of taking him away to a normal hotel seemed rather daunting! We loved the hotel and here is why: Amazing bedding! So comfy. A cookie on arrival with our sons name on - obviously he couldn't eat it but brilliant touch....

Visited in the afternoon for cream tea. We were served by Will, who was friendly and very attentive. Real fire burning in the room and the cream teas were delicious. Great atmosphere, great company. Definitely recommend a visit!

We are the proud parents of 2 year-old twin boys. We are exhausted 100% of the time. So we have swapped romantic wintry Christmas Market mini-breaks for relaxed staycations where the whole family are catered for and well looked-after. It doesn't come cheap, but you are paying for so much more than fluffy pillows and fancy in-room luxuries..* We spent...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to New Park Manor, a luxury family spa hotel in the New Forest. Relax in our spa, play croquet on the lawn, enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace or some family time in our gardens. New Park Manor offers the perfect destination for anyone wishing to explore and appreciate the unique mosaic of woodland, heathland and wetland that comprise the ancient landscape of the New Forest. The New Forest, Britain's most popular national park, was created by William the Conqueror in 1079 as a royal hunting area. In 1611, King Charles II chose New Park Manor as his favourite hunting lodge and his royal coat of arms is still displayed prominently above the fireplace in our award-winning Stag Restaurant. New Park Manor was carefully adapted for use as a country house hotel with 21 bedrooms and opened in 1970. Interesting details such as acorns and oak leaf patterned doors and original furniture and fireplaces can still be seen throughout the building. These commemorate the debt owed by King Charles to the oak tree which hid him from Cromwell's men on his escape to France in 1651. Today, New Park Manor is a beautiful, stylish country hotel, where the traditions of days gone by still live on and many original features can still be seen around the hotel. Bedrooms range from the splendor of our Barbara Villiers Family Suite to the contemporary style of our Forest rooms. Over recent years, our facilities have expanded to include a heated outdoor pool, croquet lawn, and our award-winning Bath House Spa which included a heated indoor pool and outdoor Canadian hot tub overlooking the New Forest. ... more   less
