Welcome to New Park Manor, a luxury family and dog friendly spa hotel in the New Forest. Relax in our spa, play croquet on the lawn, enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace or some family time in our gardens. New Park Manor offers the perfect destination for anyone wishing to explore and appreciate the unique mosaic of woodland, heathland and wetland that comprise the ancient landscape of the New Forest. The New Forest, Britain's most popular national park, was created by William the Conqueror in 1079 as a royal hunting area. In 1611, King Charles II chose New Park Manor as his favourite hunting lodge and his royal coat of arms is still displayed prominently above the fireplace in our award-winning Stag Restaurant. New Park Manor was carefully adapted for use as a country house hotel with 25 bedrooms and opened in 1970. Interesting details such as acorns and oak leaf patterned doors and original furniture and fireplaces can still be seen throughout the building. These commemorate the debt owed by King Charles to the oak tree which hid him from Cromwell's men on his escape to France in 1651. Today, New Park Manor is a beautiful, stylish country hotel, where the traditions of days gone by still live on and many original features can still be seen around the hotel. Bedrooms range from the splendor of our Muntjac our signature Family Suite to the contemporary style of our Forest rooms. Over recent years, our facilities have expanded to include a heated outdoor pool, croquet lawn, and our award-winning Spa which included a heated indoor pool and outdoor Canadian hot tub overlooking the New Forest.

Went with both my adult children, their partners and grandchildren. So we aged from 64 to 20 months. I was given a free upgrade on my room which was very kind. Our rooms were warm and very comfortable, with plenty of room for the grandchildren. The staff were great with the little ones and nothing was too much trouble, The pool was great and the children all loved splashing around. We had a lovely time here and will be going back again this year for our pre Christmas break.

We booked New Park Manor after receiving a dining delights voucher and we were thoroughly impressed. FOH were fantastic, really on it and super friendly. We ordered the pork belly, steak, fish & chips .. and of course desert. All were fantastic, especially my steak which was cooked perfectly to my preference. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return, thank you so much!

This quirky hotel is constrained by its original building but as a family friendly venue it can hardly be bettered . Why? How? Because its staff are exemplary. Courteous, helpful, kind and even generous. Five Stars from our family.

I’ve just got back from a wonderful stay with my dog sunny. I booked the waggy tails package for two nights. First off would love to say thank you for the complimentary upgrade to the Ash room which gave a lovely forest view with sites of horses pigs and other wildlife. The attention to detail was amazing and cute. When I arrived they had set out a bed, bowls and a welcome pack of goodies for sunny. The afternoon tea that was included was wonderful especially it being accompanied with a glass of fizz. Sunny definitely enjoyed his. The restaurant for food was lovely. Even have a menu for dogs. Which sunny had the chicken veggies and gravy. Everyone from the people at reception, the restaurant to the cleaners were so wonderful and welcoming. So helpful with suggestions on where to go for a walk in the forest. Was told it will be refurbished soon. Hopefully will return once it’s finished.

Recently stayed here, the food in the restaurant is absolutely magnificent. In general, the dishes are absolutely excellent, but the dessert - the sticky toffee, was one of the best I ever ate. Would reccomend anyone who likes good food to stay here, which combined with the amazing quiet and undisturbed nature makes for a fabulous experience.

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at New Park Manor. Positives: The staff are exceptional. Everyone of them greeted you when passing, and the dining room staff were super friendly and accomodating to us and our daughter. Cannot praise them enough. The food is amazing. The range of food available for breakfast was incredible, and for dinner the choices were decent and the portion sizes were huge! We had £28 pp included in our package but didnt mind adding a little extra to get an extra course. A nice touch is all kids food was free and our daughter had smaller plates adults food like curry for no extra. Makes a nice change from the kids menu being nuggets and chips. The Spa was really nice and just what we needed, and my wife had 2 good treatments in there plus we used the pool with our daughter. The extras that are provided like the milk and cookies station, the snug bits with kids books, and the little touches like being able to order a warm milk to be brought to the room at bedtime were really really well received. The could be slightly better: The room was a little bit tired, the table had quite a few marks as did the carpet. That beind said it was all very clean, and there were lots of nice things in there like the coffee pod machine, and the luxury toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom had obviously been redone and was very nice. No major issues at all just maybe needs a few quid spending to bring the room up to scratch. The outside park was also very tired. The swings were all lopsided and looked a bit sad! Just needed a bit of a revamp. That being said, our two year old still found enough to do, however older kids might be a bit unimpressed! There was also a broken giant connect 4 that looked a bit poor. Just needs a bit of a refresh outside. The bad: There is a 12.5% service charge that is automatically added to all of your bills for food and drink. I will point out this is clearly advertised as discrecionary, however i do not feel there is any need for this in a hotel and you are made to feel awkward for asking them to take it off, especially when the staff are so good. A fair point would be that if the staff are good you should give a tip, however i dont think in a hotel that isnt cheap anyway you should be assumed that you will add that much. If you stay in a luxury hotel it is reasonable to assume that a service will be reflected in the standard pricing. All in all we had a fantastic time and i would definately recommend.

Dear _nickhartley19, Thank you for your 5-circle review and we are delighted to read that you have had a great experience with us, enjoying all of the touches that makes for wonderful family memories. Thank you for your suggestions on where we may have improved and please be assured that I will personally look into all of your comments with the team. We are grateful for your feedback and thank you for bringing this to my attention. Additionally, I am sorry to read that you felt awkward in asking for the service charge to be removed. 100% of the service goes to all of the team members of the hotel; it is not there to increase the hotel revenues. It is discretionary and would have been removed without a second thought, other than how could we have served you better? Nevertheless, I do take your comments on board. We look forward to welcoming you back to New Park Manor in the near future. Best wishes, Byron

We stayed at the hotel as part of a motorcycle trip to the New Forest. From the welcoming email to the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel special guests. Our rooms were clean and comfy and the spa was welcome after a day in the saddle. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and even coped with my husband’s sense of humour. We plan to return soon and this time explore the forest by peddle power.

Clean premises and welcoming staff. Exceptional and attentive waiting staff. The food was delicious 😋 Lovely tea, nice big pot, and loose tea leaves. I noticed milk and biscuits were available for the children, too. Dog friendly, biscuits were also available for them. 😋 Beautiful setting in the heart of the new forest. The only slight negative, for us, was that we were in the rafters, so we kept bumping our heads on the ceiling. Would love to stay here again, so I will ask for a different room. The pool was lovely but needs maintenance on the bottom of the pool. Wonderful Hydropool! Didn't use the sauna or the treatments, but the customers seemed very happy with the facilities.

Lovely hotel, everyone is courteous, professional and welcoming. Facilities are all very good. Breakfast is varied and well executed. The dinner we had was tasty and generous. Bar is nicely decorated and professionally run. Spa experience also excellent. Nicest hotel stay I have had in a while. They do everything very well.

We had our small family wedding here, staying for a couple of nights afterwards and were delighted with the experience. We stayed in Muntjac room, this was beautiful- so peaceful and comfortable, kids loved the adjoining room. The staff in general were just so friendly and kind, the food was great, the kids were welcomed, and able to relax.
