My wife and I stayed here on Sunday, leaving Tuesday. We were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary and my birthday. It goes without saying that the hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and the building itself is as gorgeous as the pictures suggest. When we arrived we were greeted with a very friendly and efficient welcome, check-in took moments and...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Myself and my best friends of many years have been staying away for 30th & 31st Dec for 25+ years. No matter how much we enjoy our stay, we never go back to the same hotel for that particular occasion, which means we've seen hotels ranging from good to outstanding. This establishment definitely falls into the latter category. In short,...

My husband and I stayed on a Sunday night for his birthday. The location in the New Forest is fabulous, we will definately return in the summer. The hotel is striking to look at and the check in was quick, with friendly staff. Service for food was a little slow, but tasty. The breakfast was really nice and we liked...

What a lovely half term break, great hotel situated in the middle of the New Forest near Burley. Hotel itself has a small indoor pool which we used everyday and a lovely large pool which obviously will be great in the summer months, we also played in the maze and found a suitably flat area for some football too. The...

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, right in the heart of the New Forest. On the whole staff are helpful. The food is a bit hit and miss. Given the price of food I would expect it to be far better quality. But due to hotel location there is nowhere else to go for dinner without getting in the...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights for his 23rd Birthday. We are both in our early 20's. This hotel has lots of good qualities but there is room for improvement. When entering the hotel it isn't obvious where to go to get to the Reception - I think a sign is needed. We were slightly early when...

We had the Munro suit which was very spacious with a large bedroom, large bathroom and a sitting room. All decked out in oak paneling with some beautiful ornate carving. There is a gym room with a few bits of equipment, but the surrounding area is so nice unless it's raining I wouldn't bother. There is a pool, but it's...

Wonderful stay for us & our 1 year old girl. Breakfasts were amazing - all you can wish for :) While daddy was at work we went for walks into the forest (she enjoyed watching bunnies & horses), for short walk we just went to the beautiful garden outside the hotel and in the afternoon we went to the spa....

Our stay was lovely, beautiful location, stunning grounds and right in the heart of the New Forest. I had booked one night stay for my boyfriend and I with dinner for Valentines. When we arrived we had a quick walk around the grounds, very picturesque and peaceful. Then we went to the spa to relax. This was nice but the...
