We had a fantastic time on 21st December! The hotel was immaculate and beautifully decorated for the festive period. Everyone commented on how attentive the staff were and how lovely the wedding breakfast and evening buffet was! Thank you to all the staff at Rhinefield who contributed towards a wonderful wedding!

We stayed at The Rhinefield House from December 28-30, 2012. First of all when we drove up to the house my children were so excited. I am originally from England but now live in America and brought my husband and 2 children (13 and 9) to see The New Forest. Christian at check in could not have been more welcoming...

Stunning character building. Lovely setting for a wedding. It wasn't nice to see cigarette butts on steps and in the flower pots in the entrance of the building. Not a good 1st impression and such an easy, cheap problem to fix. Some areas are tired inside. Doesn't flow well as a mix of character features of the original house and...

Dear Melissa I was sorry to read that you had not enjoyed your meal with us here at a recent wedding. We are usually held to such high acclaim from our Wedding Guests for our food. I am glad you had enjoyed the Heron Suite it is with out doubt my favourite room.

I took some friends visiting from Australia here for afternoon tea; we were all impressed with the building, it's beautiful from the outside and the maze was good fun. However, the afternoon tea itself was a real left down. The bread used for the sandwiches seemed stale, the service was brisk and a bit impersonal, and even more of a...

My sister, brother in law , husband and I spent This New Year at the Rhinefield House Hotel. It was a very busy time for them as they had a wedding reception going on at the same time as the New Year celbrations. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though the carpet in our room had seen better days. A...

We stayed in the timeshare apartments for a week over Christmas whilst the location is excellent and the apartments are well maintained and equipped our two bedroom apartment, which supposedly could accommodate six people seemed rather small for the three of us. Disappointingly we did not get to use the spa facilities as this was closed shortly after arriving due...

We stayed for one night with dinner in the Armada restaurant. Arriving at dusk, the picturesque Victorian Gothic castle/chateau look was magical, decorated for Christmas. Like other reviewers we found the staff very friendly and helpful. Our 'executive room' in the new wing (next to conference facilities) was spacious and comfortable with two large windows overlooking the Forest. With no...

The hotel looks fantastic, like a little castle, public areas are lovely however the rooms are just ok. The hotel indoor pool is very small so is the gym . The breakfast was adequate but not fantastic. The bikes for hire (free) had flat tyres but we eventually found 2 with good tyres. The grill was closed for 2 months...

We stayed for one night and found the staff to be very friendly. The inclusive breakfast was excellent as was the quality of the room. I booked a Christmas lunch here to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. She's hard to impress but this ticked all the boxes. Don't let her age put you off, even the youngest will appreciate the castle feel of the place, the labyrinth of panelled corridors and odd corners where the building has been changed over the centuries, the chandeliers and...
