I have stayed at cottage lodge 4 times now and it never disappoints. The staff are always friendly and helpful, when we were due to leave we had a flat battery, we had problems with the company who were due to come and help so the hotel staff called the garage as they knew them and ensured they came quickly, they also gave us some lovely bottles of apple juice and the most amazing shortbread to enjoy while waiting for the car to be sorted. We always stay in the same room, which has now been redecorated with new furniture there was nothing wrong with how it was before but the room has definitely improved. Its possibly not the cheapest place to stay in Brockenhurst but its worth the month for the personal service.

We had a very much needed refreshing short break over the new year. Thank you to everyone at Cottage Lodge Hotel, who helped to make our time with you so enjoyable. Places we would recommend for eating: Whitetails Restaurant (next door), the New Forest Inn at Emery Down, Lyndhurst and The Buttery in Brockenhurst, which has delicious scones. Places worth a visit: Milford-on-Sea is not far and is a very pretty little town, not too far from Keyhaven and the sea. Brockenhurst itself - the highlight of our weekend was seeing donkeys and ponies just wondering about - perfect!

Great property, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely top quality. I slept so well in the lovely four poster bed I was out like a light every night. We went hoping to catch a glimpse of the New forest ponies, pleasingly a gang of them were hanging around on the lawn opposite when we arrived.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was lovely and we particularly liked the eco vibe throughout the hotel with many examples of beautiful furniture made from reclaimed wood from the New Forest. The icing on the top was the warm and welcoming hospitality all of which made this a very special autumn break
