I can't believe this B&B isn't at the top of the ratings for Bideford. The accommodation has been tastefully restored by the owners, it has appeared in House and Garden type publications and was the perfect stopping off point for our day-trip to Lundy. The owners couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival we had tea in the...

I travelled with my mother and two children and we all LOVED this place. The children loved tearing around the huge garden and made good use of the zip wire. We stayed in Sparrows, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The views from the windows were stunning and there was plenty to do in the surrounding area. I can't think...

This is a superb place to unwind. The location is far from the madding crowd in rolling country side. The traditional buildings have been lovingly restored to an incredibly high standard; this is a home more than just a business. Ann and Richard are genuinely friendly and welcoming. We brought one of Ann’s paintings to remind us of our stay....

Richard and Anne have developed the farmhouse and surrounding buildings into superb accommodation for people who appreciate the more relaxed approach to staying away from the stresses of...

We spent a week at Beara Farm in the Sparrows converted barn, stunning and absolutely beautiful location, an equally lovely accommodation. You can feel the personal touch in the barn conversion and is a lovely place to be. Surrounding area offers beaches and coastal paths and good food locally. The owners Ann and Richard are really nice and have a...

Wow! We have just returned from 4 days staying with Richard & Anne at the Beara Farmhouse. I have to say that we were warmly welcomed by Oscar and Merlin the cats, before Anne made us a lovely pot of tea along with some home made cake. We were made so welcome. The house is situated down a winding farm...
