Set among 16 acres of formal gardens, fields and woodland, this 4 star luxury hotel occupies a Georgian country house complete with its own private driveway. Not the best welcome when we arrived at Tickton Grange. No showing to your room here! We were told to get back into our car and drive round to our room.

I visited for afternoon tea with a friend. We arrived a little early, but were immediately welcomed and shown to our table. This is a lovely country house hotel and appears to have been recently refurbished. The ambience and décor are very good indeed.
