We were the first couple to return after lockdown - 4th July - It was so worth the wait. Fabulous short stay, the rooms are out of this world. We were worried about the Covid -19 situation but we really had nothing to worry about we were so safe and the hygiene and standards were the highest. Ali and Bill are the best! Our weekend stay in the Rhino room was lovely, great decor, huge comfortable bed and fantastic view of the sea. Ali's sweet treats for the room where a delight. Breakfast served by Bill was a great start to the day. The hotel is located right on the seafront with on street parking available. Ali and Bill are wonderful friendly hosts. We would highly recommend a stay at The View on the Terrace.

We've just returned home after a terrific stay with Ali and Bill at View on the Terrace. I booked the Flamingo room as I thought my girlfriend would love the fact the bath is in the bedroom itself...and it turns out I was right! The room was lovely and the location is perfect, being just about a 30 second walk from the beach (the town centre is easily walkable too). Ali and Bill who run The View are super friendly and helpful and we were blown away by their breakfast which is absolutely delicious: we knew it was going to be something special when it started with a sorbet! Each day we came back to our room, we discovered slices of delicious cake that Ali had made and she also gave us some Amaretto cookies as we were leaving...just had them now to finish off what's been a fantastic weekend! We'll happily be back :-)…

Just returned from a lovely couple of nights at The View and couldn’t be more impressed! We stayed in the Rhino Room which was absolutely stunning with stylish decor and a beautiful sea view. Every small detail has been considered and is well delivered - from the yummy brownies put our room in the afternoons, to the handy mini fridges & the green tea that was kindly left by our kettle, so thoughtful! Not to mention the breakfast which was AMAZING - try it for yourself! Ali & Bill were so welcoming & despite Covid we felt really relaxed and had a great experience staying with them at their wonderful B&B.

Thank you Bill and Ali for such a great stay. From the comfort and cleanliness of the room. To the delicious breakfasts which had a daily special to enjoy. The lovely sweet treats left in our room. And also the helpful advice on places to visit. The view from our window was special and we spent lots of time just relaxing and enjoying it.
