Stayed at The Southville for 2 nights, Marie was a great host and also cooked the nicest of breakfasts. There was plenty of choice of cereals and yogurts, fresh juices and also a choice of cooked. We had the full English which set us up for the day, a large plate of lovely cooked food. We had the room on the ground floor and it was spotless, clean bedding and lovely soft towels. Rooms also have a mini fridge which is was very handy for keeping our wine and prosecco cold. She even remembered that it was our anniversary. Thank you very much for your great hospitality. Love from Nick and Jane xx

We stayed 2 nights here and would recommend it. Felt very much at home and Maria was a great host. Nothing was an issue. We had the family room which was bright and airy, just had a new fan installed and looked like a new shower had been installed. Bed was huge, bedding was cosy and towels were nice and fluffy. Little touches like this make the experience better. We parked at the front so didn’t have any issues there.

Partner booked a suprise night away. On arrival we were greated by Marina and shown our room. We were very pleased with this and it was very clean. We had the ground floor room, bed was comfy and slept a dream. Didnt hear any noise and breakfast was superb👌👌 Will be visiting again in the near future and bringing our youngest daughter to enjoy the scrumpcious eggs for breakfast

We arrived on monday 4th July. Maria is a lovely lady, she even offered to take my suitcase up 4 flights of stairs. A warm welcome after we got in the B&B. We had a mini fridge upstairs but had to unplug the fan or the kettle to use it, when we dis use it the temperature wasn’t cold enough inside so the milk we bought went off VERY quickly! It’s abit pointless in all honesty. The room was small, not much room to get into the built in wardrobe as the chair was in the way. When we moved the chair to near the window there was even less space for me on that side. Breakfast wasn’t very well planned in my opinion. We were asked what we wanted but no option for how the eggs were cooked and they were rather oily. We have stayed at a fantastic place in Llandudno where they give you a sheet to fill in so your breakfast is done to order and there is no room for mistakes or forgetting what people have ordered. I asked for no mushrooms on the 2nd and 3rd day and was given mushrooms, she did get it right for the rest of the holiday. We got asked what sauces we wanted but I didn’t get chance to answer. The continental part is help yourself but we weren’t told anything as we came in to sit down for breakfast so we just sat there waiting for someone to come in and ask us what we wanted to drink. I have worked at premier inn which is fairly basic and I think even we used to give better service at breakfast. Maria was on her own for a few of the days instead of having a couple of young girls helping out so she was struggling abit. We didn’t get our sheets changed while we were there, again Maria was on her own on one of the days but it still would have been nice to have been asked if we wanted a linen change earlier than the Friday when she said she would do it tomorow (the Saturday) if we wanted but she was on her own so we felt like we did couldn’t ask her then. Premier Inn do it every 2 to 3 days for people staying. We also only had one towel change in the entire week we were there. We weren’t offered anything to take with us such as a bacon butty on the way out on the Monday morning when we left which would have been good, again even Premier Inn offer this take out option especially as we had paid. The room didn’t get touched at all on the Sunday when we had been out, no bed made up or bins changed. The Saturday the bathroom bin was left without a liner and on top of the toilet as in it had been forgotten about. The mini sink and shower cubical in the en-suite were too small to get a wash in and if you wanted to take the shower head down you could only do it a certain amount as it was threaded through a small shelf on the arm it was attached to the wall with, then the hose would knock things off the top of the taps as there was a very limited amount of space to put toiletries. One plus is that you are allowed to get a takeaway and eat it upstairs in your room. Maria is a lovely lady but we won’t be staying here again unfortunately.

We stayed for 2 nights at Southville. Maria was great! She kept in touch with us prior to our stay which really helped us with our plans. The parking around the back was really useful as it is on a busy road.
Our room was modern and had everything we needed.
We felt it was an ideal location for us to get to town and visit attractions there.
Breakfast was tasty and served by the friendly waitresses.
Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our family just had an awesome family vacation. Maria was so kind and helpful and a gracious hostess. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 boys) stayed in the family room with a queen and 2 singles. The room was large enough that we all had space including a small walk in closet. The beds were very comfortable. There were two fans already in the room and Maria was so kind to give us a third fan during this August crazy heat wave. We loved the homemade breakfasts, lots of choice. Parking was nice with spaces behind the B & B. We always had a place to park our car. The hotel is about a block or 2 minutes walk from the beach and maybe 10-15 minutes walk to the Harbour. So very walkable to lots of restaurants at night. Great service and great location!

My partner and I stayed here 12th - 15th August. We were in room 6 which was comfortable and well decorated. The breakfast was lovely and nothing seemed too much trouble. Maria and her team were extremely hospitable and made us feel very welcome. The Guest House is only a couple of hundred metres from the beach and the town is only around 10/15 minute stroll so perfectly placed.
The only small point I’d raise is the parking situation, there is plenty of space for cars in two rows of Three however if you are at the end nearest the property and you don’t manage to speak with other guests you may end up blocked in with no way of getting out until the other car owners return.
All in all we had a lovely stay and would return.

Perfect for our little weekend get away. Everything was clean and it was clear extra measures had been put in place in order to open safely. Breakfast was great and Marie was a fabulous host! The B&B is situated right near the beach and a short walk from the old harbour. Would definitely recommend!

I cant recommend this place highly enough. All the staff were so friendly. Amazingly clean, lovely breakfast, tea, biscuits etc replaced daily. Parking out the back, what more could you ask for ♥️🙃🌞 will definitely be returning at some point in the future. Right by the beach and town, perfect!

It was an amazing stay! Maria (the owner) treats you like family - the cool, non-intrusive, fun type of family 😊. The breakfast was yummy - a full English breakfast. The rooms, especially the bathrooms were clean and comfortable. If you need anything, you can just ask Maria and she tries her best to help. We enjoyed our stay and extended it by a day because we were so comfortable.
