Greenlands was the ideal base for a relaxing break exploring beautiful Dorset. Our hosts, Sharon and Steve, could not have been more welcoming. They gave us lots of information about things to do in the area and provided a tasty cooked breakfast each morning in the pleasant little dining room. The house is right by the lovely central beach and within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops and the vibrant harbour. Our room, with ensuite, was really well equipped, clean and comfortable and we wouldn't hesitate to return!

Really enjoyed my stay! Sharon and Steve were such genuine, kind people and they really did put their heart into everything. Anything we asked for they were more than happy to accommodate. The b&b is close enough to the beach and local attractions yet far away enough so that you don’t get all the noise from the town at night. Breakfast was beautiful I honestly can’t fault anything about the stay. Thank you for being such lovely hosts!

We have just returned home after a weeks holiday. Made ONE to Remember with a Massive Thanks to Sharon and Steve.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, our visit to Dorset was Awesome.

Steve and Sharon made our holiday The Best, nothing was too much trouble always greeted with a smile and would definitely recommend and return in the future.
We also made friends with other guests.

The room we had at the front of the guest house had a fabulous massive bed, with a wardrobe and drawers, en suite bathroom. Room had tea coffee kettle facilities, supplied with complimentary sundries. Also in the room was a ironing board, iron, hair dryer. Any extras were accommodated by Sharon and Steve.

Bed and Breakfast is 2 mins from the beach, dog friendly.

A cracking breakfast served every morning at a time to suit your needs.

Local bus services outside the guest house, 10 minutes walk to the train station. 20 minutes maximum to the harbour and main shops.
Local shop 2 mins from the Guest House, and 2 local pubs within a few minutes walk who welcome holiday visitors as well as locals "Waterloo and Park".

Some lovely gardens across the road from the Guest House, worth a visit.

very friendly hosts Sharon and Steve, we were made to feel very welcome for our recent 3 day break. Dog friendly, dogs even allowed to be with you whilst you are eating your hearty full cooked breakfast. Dogs are treated to sausage (shame our dog wasn't allowed any) for breakfast too. Very clean rooms and tea/coffee/biscuits available in rooms. Steve very knowledgeable about local area and we even got to see Sammy the Sea lion in Bowleaze Cove! Would recommend to anyone and hope to stay again soon

The guesthouse is in an excellent location near the sea front, and is close to the main strip and the centre of weymouth. The owners are very friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The rooms newly refurbished, very clean and comfortable with an excellent range of options for breakfast.

Lovely spacious room (come and go at your leisure) with a very comfortable bed. Full English breakfast was ample and well cooked, other options were available.
Parking on site for guests vehicles is a real plus. Leave your car there and it’s an easy 15 minute walk into the town centre or for the less energetic hop on a bus from the stop opposite the guest house.
Hostess Diana is so nice and just couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home.
We would be more than happy to return to Greenland Guest House should we venture to Weymouth again.

A wonderful little place situated just at the top of the Esplanade - great couple who have only just taken the property on. Thank you all for making us all feel so welcome, including Dave the Dog who very much enjoyed his morning Sausage! Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was excellent (plenty of it!). The B&B overall is very clean, comfortable and has all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable. Good luck guys in your new venture - very much a blank canvas you can turn into your own dog-friendly kingdom! Shall be returning soon. Best wishes from Brad, Dan and Dave!

What wonderful people Sharon and Steve are! So welcoming and friendly, it’s like staying with family. Their knowledge of the area was fab and they literally couldn’t do enough for us. Our little lady, Minnie was spoilt too with a sausage for breakfast every morning. We felt so at ease.
A lovely traditional guest house with a great location.
Car park at the back and no issues for us as we walked most places.
Tea and coffee available, with kettle in room. Supplies were given when asked for.
Bed was really comfy and en-suite was good plus for us too.
We were in room 5, so a few stairs to navigate which wasn’t too much of an issue for us but maybe check this if problems with mobility?
Breakfast time booked in advance which was great and dietary needs discussed and met. Lovely to have a chat with Steve every morning and really lovely breakfast to start your day. Proper butter and lovely bread for toast!
Our first time at Weymouth and will definitely be returning, cannot thank you enough 🙂

Fantastic hosts, room comfortable with plenty of tea bags etc. Shower brilliant and bed super-comfy. Plenty of hangers in wardrobe and peaceful rear second floor room.
Breakfast amazing with unlimited tea and toast as well as continental and a full English. 5 minute walk to town, beach over the road. Loved the hosts, plenty of attention paid to guests and advice and handy hints on places to go. Will definately return soon!
