We have stayed at Oakland’s several times now. Every time we come away we feel totally relaxed. From the moment you set foot in the door you are made to feel so welcome by the owners Tim and Teresa. Rooms are spotless, breakfast is amazing thanks to Tim who does the cooking and to Teresa’s eye who has furnished all the rooms, all different but they are all just beautiful. We always book a year in advance as this guest house is always in high demand. We will be back next year maybe twice. Think I should bring my husband next time first before I have another girly weekend. Thanks for a fab weekend and enjoy your winter months having a break x

A 4 night stay was really good. Tim and Teresa were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The honesty bar was a nice touch although we did not use it. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We will definitely be visiting again.

This is the most welcoming place me and my partner have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Tim & Teresa were absolutely phenomenal! The service was incredible they really put their heart and soul into looking after their guests & it shows! We were greeted by two big smiles when we arrived jam packed with information to ensure our stay was the best it could be! The room was absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated and very well stocked! We were made the feel extremely safe during these uncertain times with plenty of hand sanitiser dotted around and distancing wherever possible! The breakfast was to die for with a very wide choice from a full cooked English to a help yourself continental breakfast bar & daily specials! We have loved every minute and the only downfall is that it came to an end so quickly! Thank you so much Tim & Teresa we have loved every minute and hope to be back soon! Lauren & Andrew
