Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We knew that this Premier Inn did not have a lift, and we were given room 101 up on the second floor. We were offered help with our suitcase, which we declined, but we did not know then that it was up 35 steps. Typical Premier Inn room. The cleaning staff have still not been given the right equipment to do the job properly, so the edges of the room, and the edges of the long corridor, as well as those 35 steps are never cleaned. There are no instructions for any fire escape on the back of the bedroom door. That is because the only way out is via those 35 dirty steps. Only 1 hand towel for 2 people. Milk not replenished at reception. An interesting point, which Trip Advisor should investigate, is that people who make positive reviews for either this hotel or the adjacent Brewer's Fayre, have in the past, only made a maximum of 3 reviews. This, to me, suggests that they may not be genuine.

Hotel's Favourite
We have been staying here regularly since 2008 for long weekends and have always been very happy. It’s in a great position right on the seafront with just a 10-15 minute walk along the front to the main town. Parking in Weymouth isn’t easy so this is perfect. Staff are always helpful. Highly recommend.

We use Premier Inn more than any other chain in the UK and in preference to the many pubs/hotels we have used where we felt ripped off for less quality and, often, far less comfort, peace and sleep! Weymouth was no different to the usual high standard and with our first experience if Premier Plus, we would highly recommend. The staff were wonderful and totally enhanced our visit. The Room was new but very familiar and the bed, as usual, extremely comfortable. Couple of points - the shower gets very slippy and, as an older couple, we did not feel at ease with it. - with Plus, the ultrafast wifi is included. As previously, i had a lot of trouble connecting on the Virgin run system as they insist you sign up and in….that took sometime and email to Virgin (without reply) before finally connecting! However, as we were in room 97 - the furthest you can get from Reception - the connection repeatedly was lost so relied on my phone’s data!!

Trying to contact hotel to cancel or amend booking for 3 days after husband's unexpected hospital admission, no pick ups from any of numbers given, it would appear once they have your money there is no support. Now awaiting prepayment receipt, usually follows booking confirmation after amendment.

Bearing in mind this was on the eve of a bank holiday, both hotel and adjacent bar/restaurant customer service was atrocious, I personally had to enter the kitchen twice on the Saturday lunchtime to grab someone's attention, the staff (some who I felt sorry for) were invisible and some (alas, were poorly trained), ringing the bell seven times in the hotel reception, and on the following morning I was astonished to find just two members of staff running the whole restaurant breakfast sitting, refreshing cooked food, answering queries, and greeting new customers. Cups and food amongst other things were on short supply and the quality of the food clearly rushed, and when this happens... chaos ensues. The hotel corridors were strewn with linen, no apologies from staff after repeatedly ringing the bell. The management of this hotel, be it local or regional need to have a good look at themselves as this "first impression" that would have been experienced by dozens of couples and families, and no doubt some people wouldn't have flinched at what they saw and suffered, but a lot would have been very, very disappointed. I'm always honest enough to say positive things when they are deserved, and that was the room, BUT THAT WAS IT! GET A GRIP PREMIER INN & BREWERS FARE!

Stayed in the Premier Inn with my University field trip group. We had a wonderful stay with very comfy rooms (amazing shower pressure) and super helpful staff - shoutout to Tom for the Rock candy! Amazing buffet breakfast every morning - full english + cereal and pastries.

Great stay. Steve and Tony were very kind and delivered an amazing service! We were greeted very kindly and offered advice to help navigate the area. They made this a much better stay and very very attentive to our needs despite how many times we needed help!

Best place to stay in Weymouth. Right across the road from the seafront, loads of parking, just far away enough from the centre to be quieter and easy to come and go in the car and walking. Pleasant helpful staff and after a great hot shower a comfy bed to rest after getting the bus to Lulworth Cove and walking back to the hotel. We’ll be back!

The Premier Inn itself was adequate but the adjoining restaurant was terrible. It was a cold night & inside the restaurant was freezing --- everybody was eating in their overcoats. As requested we stood at the entrance desk to be seated & nobody came to see us for over 10 minutes. There was only one person behind the bar both serving drinks & taking food orders (not very efficiently) meaning a wait of, at least ,20 minutes. The food when it eventually came was semi-cold tasteless pap. Half way through the meal I wanted another drink but this would have incurred another 20 min. wait --- I didn't bother with the drink as this would mean a totally cold meal. The hotel is OK but avoid the restaurant.

General stay was as you’d expect. We were disappointed however that when we requested two additional pillows (4 of us were in the family room), that we couldn’t have any as the hotel was fully booked & 6 pillows for 4 people is already excessive.
