Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at this B&B on Thursday evening 10th March 2022 for 1 night.

We were greeted by Sam the owner who is so friendly. He assisted us by directing us to free parking and providing a permit.

Sam upgraded us free of charge, and without prompting.
It was a very clean, tidy and cosy B&B.

(Loved the smell of the fresh laundered bedding)

Breakfast was stunning, cooked to perfection. What more can you ask for?
You wouldn’t think that the host could be more amazing…

We parked quite a distance from the B&B by choice for our day trip and the day after the weather was extremely wet. Sam offered to personally drive us to our car that morning, something that went way above and beyond.

We chose this B&B for the location but we will be choosing this B&B on every visit to Weymouth in the future based on our experience as guests.

Thank you again Sam & Family.

Warm regards
Alex & Darren

Deciding to be spontaneous and book a last minute night in Weymouth to see an old friend (I used to teach there 12 years ago so it was a trip down memory lane), I went online and discovered this little gem.
Really easy to find, less than a 2 minute walk to the beach and a very warm welcome from Sam, I could not have been happier. As a single person I often get stung having to pay for a double room - this was a single, extremely fairly priced and incredibly comfortable. Wifi was provided, on street parking, an ensuite, fan and kettle along with tea and coffee.
I cannot recommend highly enough. It's an A* from me!

Brilliant friendly host. Very accommodating.
Informative in relation to what you like doing. Good variety for breakfast. My husband has vision problems, host was very understanding about lighting for him. Clean comfortable rooms. Tea and coffee in room included. Couldn't fault it. Was perfect for us and would highly recommend it. Already thinking of returning next year! *****

I booked 3 months in advance for a late June 24 booking. There is a practice at this hotel to request bookings for 2 nights minimum - and to take a 1 night security deposit.

I was not informed it’s non refundable and despite 1 month notice of cancellation - Sam and Kelly Harris currently refuse to refund the deposit.

I can suggest buyer beware. This appears a shady operation & I am currently engaged proceedings to recover owed refund.

This b+b is the best in Weymouth that is why I stay here pretty much every year, Sam the owner is the most politest ever. Everything is so well organised from the beds to the breakfast room and if you have any problems he will sort it out for you.
I would really recommend this b+b to my friends and family.

Booked quite late in the evening on an impromptu road trip but Sam was very happy to check us in and provide us a parking permit. He was welcoming and friendly from the off!

The room was clean and fresh, more spacious than expected and had lots of tea and coffee. Very comfy bed. Bathroom was also very clean and well equipped.

Breakfast was included at a bargain price considering how we were treated to so many options and a cooked breakfast!

Great location right next to the seafront and an easy amble into the town centre.

If I could mention one thing that was less than positive it would be the warmth of the building, but that's much better than being too cold!

Will be staying here again on a return to Weymouth!

This is one of my favourite b&bs I have stayed in. I stayed in the single room which was a perfect size for a solo traveller. Room was nice and bright and had everything I needed for my stay. Good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room and good toiletry selection. The room was spotless and very clean.

The location was great, only a minutes walk from the seafront and ideally positioned between the two sides of the beach for access to both the harbour and main beach, and also the country park and attractions at the other end. The owner was very friendly and happy to help with any queries and explained the b&bs social distancing measures to me. He gave me some good tips for what to see during the stay and was happy for me to leave my bags for the final day so I didn't have to carry them round.

Breakfast selection was great, good range of yoghurts, fruit, cereals, juices and cooked breakfasts. I really enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast I had and would reccomend it.

All in all, a very pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to reccomend to others or stay again.
