Lovely, welcoming, friendly, comfortable, central, convenient….it’s all been said before, and it’s all you need when you’re in Bowness. And it’s all true. We stayed in the Kentmere room, which, like all the others, has everything you need for a comfy stay. Parking is a massive bonus too, and the food for breakfast was lovely. Thank you.

We stayed at Langdale View Guesthouse for 2 nights. The location is excellent and it is short walk into town for shops, cafes, restaurants etc. The rooms are well equipped with everything you could possibly need and the beds, linen and towels etc are of a very high quality. The breakfast is outstandingly good with a wide range of options available. The Wi-Fi is a little slow, but it was sufficient for our use.

We have just returned from a short weekend break, everything about our stay was perfect, the Room, Breakfast and location couldn’t have been better. Anne-Marie and Paul made our stay an excellent experience and we will be going back. I would recommend this little gem to anyone. 😁

We stayed with Ann-Marie and Paul in October 2019 and had a great time. So it was the obvious option to return there on our next visit. The service was just as good as previously, absolutely top notch, the breakfasts are lovely with plenty of options (my partner in particular loves the pancakes and she had that most mornings - it is definitely one to go for if you have a sweet tooth!) and the rooms are lovely with really comfy beds. The views are stunning as well. It certainly won't be as long until our next visit and we are very much looking forward to it already!

Managed to book this guest house last minute due to a cancellation. Instructions for check in received almost immediately which were greatly appreciated, due to the location you need to follow the directions not your sat nav. Guest house up a slight hill but just minutes walk from centre of bowness absolutely perfect! It’s on a peaceful road and makes you feel really relaxed from the minute you arrive. Our room was the kentmere, immaculately clean, huge comfy bed overlooking the garden. Everything you need is provided - toiletries, hairdryer, iron and board, tea coffee etc, biscuits, corkscrew!!! Outside the room was a chiller - great idea and more tea and coffee etc if required. The breakfast was just beautiful, I had full English one day and omelette made to order another. I saw pancakes and fruit being served which also looked delicious. Will definitely be returning but will be booking in advance to avoid being disappointed- thanks to the lovely hosts your guest house is a credit to you. …

Spent 4 nights in this Guest House in the gorgeous Bowness of Windermere. On arrival we were greeted by Ann Marie the owner, who was lovely and friendly. Guest house is situated up a short steep hill, and down a narrow lane way, close to town centre. Parking is available which was fantastic as town hard to park in. There was plenty of choices at Breakfast time, and freshly cooked by Paul. I loved the pancakes and fruit and poached eggs and bacon, my husband loved the full English. Despite being close to town, it was really peaceful and quiet, I had no trouble sleeping in the comfortable beds. Room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a great stay. I would definitely recommend this guest house and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Great little place to stay while exploring Cumbria.…

Having stayed in Bo’ness on Windermere a few times before, we have to say this was our best find, nestled away up a hill down a short lane but very close to the centre of Bo’ness and the Lake, Langdale View is run by a lovely couple who are the perfect hosts, where cleanliness, attention to detail, personalisation and professionalism are a high priority to them, breakfasts are delicious, rooms are spacious - well equipped with everything you need, comfy beds and lovely linen, bathrooms are lovely with walk in shower. Extensive hospitality tray, use of a fridge outside your rooms on the landing are a great idea and very much appreciated. Parking with a bay per room means you can park and walk as so close . Views are lovely if you’ve the right room where you can see the Lake and mountains with lovely sunsets. Hope you have a great season this year now the pandemics dying down. We’ll definitely join you again in the future. Cheers Ann-Marie & Paul x…
