Had a really nice stay, the lady there is so friendly and helpful. Accomdated my vegan diet for breakfast. Rooms were warm and comfortable and the spa facilities 1 minute up the road were luxury. I went at 8am and was the only one in there. Beautiful location.

Me and my partner booked in here for 2 nights. The location is excellent, a minutes walk to the local shops, lake, and all the amenities. On arrival we were greeted by the owner Sue who is such a lovely person. Parking available for all of those staying which is a great bonus. We had booked the basic room. And... More

Excellent place to stay in Bowness. Superb location, just minutes from town centre pubs and restaurants . Clean and tidy, comfy room, lovely food. Good parking, well managed by your host, who incidentally is the star of your stay ! So many tales and information during breakfast . Absolutely loved it !

Just returned from a 4 night stay at May Cottage From the moment I made my booking direct with Sue at the cottage, she was extremely welcoming and kind. In arrival in the morning we knew our room would not be ready but Sue said it was no problem to park up anyway and we took a walk and returned... More

We had a great stay at Sue's lovely B&B. She was very helpfull and kind. Room 3 was clean and cozy, with a huge bed! The location was perfect, 2 minutes walk from the lake and just around the corner from town centre. Free access to the spa, where you can relax after a walk. Breakfast was great Sue!

Stayed in premium double with queen size bed was very spacious, clean and comfortable and waking up to the smell of fry up (best we've had) every morning was delicious and kept us both full throughout the day. Spa facilities were excellent and we used them everyday and location was perfect, 2 min walk from the lake! One tip for... More

Book a 1 night Saturday stay. The BB is easy to find as it is just behind the Belsfield Hotel and only a few minute walk back to the main street. We had room No 3 on the top floor and this has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a large bath and a telephone tap shower... More

To find quality acommadation at these rates on this scale in Windermere is near impossible. Full credit to the owners Sue & Len, they run a fantastic B&B. We feel part of the family in their home.
