Myself and my partner stayed here during one the of the winter breaks and it was absolutely amazing. The room was comfy and the food was delicious which was served by Daniel who was kind and helpful. We also stayed for a couple of drinks at the bar and was served by Ann-Marie who was kind and welcoming. I couldn’t praise Ann-Marie and Daniel high enough as they made us feel at home straight away. The Angel Inn is a lovely place with lovely staff and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Myself and my partner booked the winter break for a nice night away from everything and couldn’t thank ANN- MARIE and DANIEL enough for their service. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with the excellent customer service from ANN- MARIE and excellent customer service from DANIEL in relation to our meal aswell as excellent bar service and advice on new gins to try! Both ANN-MARIE and DANIEL have made a difference to our stay here and we definitely will be back again soon! Both members of staff deserve credit for their service :)

Would definitely stay again. Host were perfect. Food was great. We opted for a cozy room. It was lovely, warm, clean and we had a great nights sleep. Limited parking but there is a car park nearby. I would rate this hotel as excellent

Love staying at the Angel , the all round standard is excellent and we’ve always been lucky and got a car park. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Close to all that Bowness has to offer would definitely recommend and hopefully we will book again .

Better tv when the nights draw in also lack of parking can become a problem a lack of water pressure can be quite poor especially in the shower overall me and my family had a good time excellent position

I’ve stayed at a few Collection Inn hotels, the Angel Inn did not disappoint. It has a great location, and it’s a short walk from the lake and amenities. We had 2 rooms, different sizes but equal in quality and cleanliness. The walk in pack is going to be very useful for future visits to The Lakes (given as part of the deal). The hotel is dog friendly, which is important to me. We’ve already booked our next stay. Loved it!

The Angel Inn has always been a great place to stay, in a good location, we have been many times over the years. Now as a part of The Inn Collection Group I can honestly say that this was the best visit ever. The pub itself has undergone a lovely revamp. Our room was comfortable, clean and cosy, with wonderful views of Lake Windermere. The customer service was excellent, and the food and drink top quality, and the over all value extremely good. We will be going back!

Customer service below par from the start. Messaged hotel a few times before arrival to request a bath and lake view if possible as we were celebrating our anniversary and paid for the most expensive room. Did not get a reply to any of our messages. Arrived on the morning of day 1, approached reception to give our car reg. Were quickly dismissed, not interested in our car reg and were told the earliest we could possibly check in was 3pm which is in actual fact the actual check in so should be the latest not earliest. We returned to check in at 3pm, asked to pay full balance immediately which is quite unusual, but check in was very friendly other than that and gave us hope that the initial reception was merely a blip. Asked if we wanted to book an evening meal which we did but told we couldn’t have 7:30 as already had lots of bookings. Fair enough, we went for 7pm. Arrived for our evening meal only to find out our booking had not been recorded. Found us a table in the only available area, ordered food, waited 45 mins and then whilst we were eating a party of 6 crammed in beside us at the adjacent table for 2. Not quite the romantic meal we had hoped for! Spoke to the bar staff and were told they were sorry but busier than expected! Left fairly quickly and went into Bowness to finish our evening. Following morning, ordered breakfast, plates piled up the whole meal, no staff made any effort to clear away. Asked for toast with our breakfast, told to make our own despite the table next to us having theirs served to them with breakfast. So disappointing when other than this hotel, we’ve had a fantastic stay in Bowness. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone else.…

A well located Windermere Inn with great food & a view. Room was spacious and staff v welcoming. A nice buzz to the place with a lively but family friendly bar. Provided welcome respite on a work trip involving lots of travel.
