Winner of the Tatler Life Changing Spa Award and Conde Nast Traveller Award for "Best Spa Retreat UK", Yeotown has, in a short time, carved out a new and definitive niche in the UK Wellness market. Located in North Devon, Yeotown's signature health and fitness 5 day escape is known as the Yeotox. It's a modern day physical, spiritual and mental cleanse which encourages you to live in the moment, get away from the routine, planning and timetables of everyday life. The much heralded Yeotox diet is designed to be a springboard towards optimum energy and vitality. In contrast to a traditional deprivation detox, juice cleanse or a fast, the programme consists of a colourful, nourishing and nutrient dense foods free from dairy, wheat, gluten, alcohol, caffeine, refined sugars and meat. Founded by Mercedes and Simon Sieff, it has fast become Britain's leading haven of health with a visionary mission being to create a programme that educates the whole person both in body and mind. Yeotown has developed its offering as a sustainable and inspiring alternative to boot camps, fat farms and luxury spas. At Yeotown, its believed healthy living is not just the absence of disease but rather an attitude towards ourselves, others and life. Going beyond just working out and sipping green smoothies, the programme works hard to cultivate optimum health in both body and mind in equal measure. Throughout the 5 days we aim to fine tune habits so that living, eating and feeling well gets easier and more rooted in our day to day routine. The Yeotox programme aims to be challenging and push boundaries. Yeotown guests leave feeling stronger and healthier with a real sense of achievement. The multi-dimensional programme includes stunning coastal hiking, core fitness, upper body strengthening sessions, cooking lessons, yoga for both yogis and non-yogis alike, cycling, surfing, meditation, massage and a host of other inspiring activities.

If you want a proper, healthy break, this is the place to go. It was transformative for me. The accommodation, the food and the team there were exceptional. There is such a positive energy. The attention to detail is second to none and the programme was amazing. Thank you Yeotown.

We have had a reset: how we feel about food, breathing, exercise - after feeling tired, sluggish and stressed - is transformational. The whole team is skilled, welcoming, expert. Everyone is authentic and we enjoyed getting to know them whilst learning from them. The days are packed with activities, you won’t want to opt out of any of them. We were craving stillness and peace on arrival, but found it in the activities and stolen moments. The house is homely and beautiful. It was lovely to have the feeling of coming home to be nourished by wonderful food. There were 9 of us and we were a little apprehensive about spending such a lot of time with 7 strangers, but it was a pleasure. Mealtimes together were lovely and we enjoyed spending time with such a great bunch across all the activities. The yoga instruction is beyond anything we’ve experienced before. We have a much deeper understanding of what we should be aiming for in yoga now. Stamina and strength were challenged in a gentle and supportive way and we discovered new depths within us. The hikes, instruction, scenery were spectacular. It is so personalised thanks to the meticulous attention to detail from the coordinators. Communication across the Yeotown team and with guests is thorough and yet effortless. So each element of the programme has a synchronicity and the handoffs between staff mean you feel completely seen and cared for. We would return in a heartbeat.

My five days at Yeotown were very special and I've returned to "real life" feeling rejuvitated, energised and full of good intentions. My room was incredibly comfortable and warm, the food was absolutely delicious and the Devon countryside did not disappoint. Every day was different and a "surprise"! Everyone at Yeotown, without fail, was incredibly friendly and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived; nothing was too much trouble. I met some wonderful people and have memories that I won't forget. Removing oneself occasionally from the difficult world we live in, and detoxing, is highly recommended and I will definitely be returning to Yeotown again.

This is my fifth trip to Yeotown... it's a very special place. The food, care, ambience and staff are second to none. Many have been there since i first visited over ten years ago. Whatever the weather you'll be hiking, eating delicious, healthy food and making friends. This time i visited with a friend but it's also somewhere you can happily go on your own

Magical 5 days in Devon. I never knew countryside was so beautiful around there. Yeotown lived up to its exceptional reputation. Everything (the staff, the food, the accommodation, the therapists, the location etc etc) was amazing and I literally can't think of anything to criticise. 3 friends recommended Yeotown to me (my first health retreat) - they have all booked to go back this year and I will definitely be booking again.

I have returned from my trip to Yeotown feeling fully refreshed and having had a much needed break and a chance to slow down and look after myself. The programme is beautifully put together to get the maximum benefits from the 5 night stay. I was immediately made to feel at ease and relax into the programme due to the excellent guides and coaches - all of whom were amazing in whatever we were doing, which was varied, and so glad I threw myself into all of it. The food was sensational and has given my gut/ body a detox without any hardship! I especially loved the hikes along the North Devon coast, so beautiful. Yoga classes catered for all levels of experience, and having Mercedes lead us in a session was a wonderful experience. As for the massages... It is a very comfortable place to stay and has the added benefit of a sauna which was lovely for tired limbs post hike. It was the perfect way to re set for the year ahead and I am continuing to use a lot of what I learned at Yeotown. I hope to be back and couldn’t recommend it more.

The most amazing holiday... Just wow. We have left Yeotown feeling brand new. It is the most amazing, nourishing and transformational retreat. The space is a sanctuary, beautifully designed and furnished, with beautiful artwork and relaxing soft lighting. Mercedes and Simon have created the most incredible program, no details have been overlooked. The food is delicious, nourishing and abundant. The hikes showcase the most spectacular scenery, and the yoga classes are fun and dynamic. It really is an exceptional health program! To sum it up, Yeotown is utter perfection. Thank you for having us!

I loved my stay at Yeotown Madeira - My room "Gratitude" is not enormous but has a large comfy bed and a huge balcony with lovely sea views - every detail has been thought of. The retreat is so stylish, there are lots of places to sit and relax, lovely views, incredible hikes, first-class yoga teachers, friendly staff, and delicious food. My massage was top-notch. I cannot recommend it highly enough, I have come home relaxed and rejuvenated.

Put simply, this is the most nurturing well thought through retreat, expertly delivered, for body, mind and soul that I could possibly have imagined. It does push boundaries, but in a holistic and generous way. All the experts are brilliant but also approachable and empathic. The vegetarian cuisine was out of this world, I never felt hungry and I never felt I was on a treadmill of challenging activities that I hadn’t chosen. It was enlightening, reassuring and inspiring in equal measures. Thank you every one at Yeotown. I highly recommend this as a winter retreat.
