Had the best nights sleep! Checked in at 4:30pm on Saturday 3rd with Kayley at reception, she was very smiley, helpful and efficient. After booking this room on the party rate as I was attending my works Christmas party at 62 the bank, I thought I would be staying in a basic room over the noisy Dj downstairs which has...

We have been admirers of the brend hotels for a long time. This is the first time we have stayed here We have booked 4 nights in the Percival suite, which is even better than the pictures on line The staff are so nice and helpful The food in all parts is first class with plenty of choice From the...

I would highly recommend this hotel. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished and comfortable. The restaurant serves excellent food with good service. This is one of many in a family run group of hotels. It is conveniently located to the river, shops and restaurants. There are two bars in the hotel.

I stayed here as a last minute option. The room cost only £65, and it was a reasonable 'double'. Very clean and spacious with a range of facilities. The beverage pack that's included is a nice touch. I met some friends and we chilled out at Bar 62 (inside the hotel). Very stunning interior. The guys serving us (Raphael and...

My partner and I stayed for a couple of nights, and we were pleasantly surprised at the standard of the Hotel, better than we expected. The room was moderate in size, but comfortable and clean, nice modern Bathroom. View from the window was an Extractor Fan and rooftops, but didn't bother us because we were not there to look out...

Myself and my partner stayed here for 3 nights for a long weekend last week. First impressions of the reception area and front of the hotel was great. Nicely decorated, modern and the entrance had noticeably been refurbished recently, and the cocktail bar of the hotel was fancy, great cocktails and staff were very welcoming however slightly overpriced compared to...

We had stayed at other Brend Hotels, but never in North Devon. A neighbour recommended it and it was justifiably deserved. Welcoming friendly staff, good food and very comfortable accommodation added up to a relaxing break. What a bonus, to have the use of the Leisure facilities at a sister hotel too. Shops on the doorstep, but a short drive...

An unexpectedly big room for such an old hotel. Great restaurant attached - 62 The Bank - but make sure you book. We weren't made aware of this and didn't book to find ti fully booked but the lovely maitre'd gave us an early table and I'm so glad he did. The food was excellent. Only complaint was the screaming...

Thank you for the lovely review. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your meal in 62 The Bank, and have passed on your kind words to their team. The rooms in the hotel that face onto the street are fitted with triple glazing in order to reduce noise, and we're sorry to hear that people passing by the hotel disrupted...

Booked 2 single rooms for a business trip (£65 per room, 1 night) - No space in small open-air carpark at the back, called the hotel and they said that we could park in their lock-up Lock up was also full and we had to park blocking in two vehicles - when asked what happens if those cars wanted to...
