The hotel is easy to find with loads of parking. It’s close to town and the main routes for travelling so it’s very convenient. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are spacious and clean with good facilities and nicely decorated. The hotel also has dining, a bar, a pool and health club. Would recommend.

Stayed as a family, 2 adults and a child for 2 nights in December 2020. A very nice hotel, which is modern, clean with helpful and friendly staff. Rooms: Clean and of a good size. ours came with freeview TV and had all the usual things. No complaints Breakfast: ours was included and it was very good, all table service with a choice of a Full English or continental. Options to swap and change as required. Even had smoked haddock if you wished. Complimentary use of the Pool, to which there is an indoor and out door pool. very clean. however due to COVID had to change in your room and come down, so take a robe or you have to wear swimwear under clothes. Hotel has two floor, but no elevator, so may be an issue for elderly or those in wheelchair. Overall I would recommend.

My wife and I stayed for 5 superb nights winter break at The Barnstaple Hotel. Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were amazing, especially in the restaurant. The food at dinner and Sunday lunch was excellent. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The indoor pool was great. And they managed all the Covid regulations really well. We felt very safe. The only incongruity - on first arriving at the hotel, it looks like a motel in an industrial site - complete with motel style signage outside. But once inside you are in a superb hotel.
