This is our second visit to this hotel and we found the whole experience as good as the first time. My wife and I were visiting family and the surrounding area. Made very welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were excellent and served promptly. Will definitely go again!!!

I found this hotel by chance online and was not disappointed. I was greeted warmly and given a map on my arrival of with local places to eat. The room was better than I expected it to be as it was in the attic but it was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a very nice ensuite with a surprisingly powerful...

I stayed in a single room (first floor front of the hotel) for one night. The hotel is stylish and was spotlessly clean, and the single room had everything you need in a small room, together with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was first rate, with obviously good quality ingredients that were cooked and served to a high standard. All...

We booked the Yeo Dale last minute. The owner and his wife gave us a warm welcome as well as a free room upgrade. The room was tastefully decorated to a high standard. Our bed was so comfortable. I had a fantastic stay and couldn't be happier! An excellent welcome on arrival (and help to find the car parking area) and quick service. I had help to carry my bags to a second floor room. Being on a budget, I stayed in the lovely little single room - very cosy. It had everything I needed and was exceptionally...

Inspired by all the good reviews, my recent stay had both positives and negatives. First the negatives, a front facing room was noisy from a) the traffic/main road and b) the early boiler or heating switch on. Also, the room and bathroom could be considered just too small for some and particularly if you were a couple. Although I am...

I came to Barnstaple to check out my Ancestry. The Yeo Dale Hotel is in perfect spot in which to reach the town centre. Room 10 was perfect for what I wanted, warm and cosy. Breakfast was yummy and fresh. Barnstaple is a beautiful spot.

The owners offer a warm welcome and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I found the breakfast to be of a very high standard, however an evening meal was not available. Parking can be a problem, there is a very small car park opposite but there is nowhere else available as it seems that Barnstaple has...

Returned to stay at the Yeo Dale three years after my last stay there. Easy to find in a good location on the river, with convenient parking just a few steps away. Nice old property, quite imposing facade and nice wide entrance hall. Paul, the owner is very friendly and helpful and a great cook. The room was really well...
