Ticked all our boxes for a nice weekend stay over a rainy few days during February. Location was brilliant in that everything was in easy walking distance. There is a carpark nearby which has discounted rates from staying at the hotel. Plenty eating places around the hotel and further afield all within easy walking distance. We stayed in the room...

Excellent location with plenty of places to eat and drink. Shopping close by and near the cathedral. There are lovely walks by the river. There is a little building work but this did not disturb us it will look fab when completed

Stayed here for one night with work, greeted with a smile by a nice bloke called Jack on reception. Room was great, bed very comfortable. Went into the city for a look around and was blown away by how nice it was. Woke up for breakfast and was greeted by the same smiling face (Jack) puts in some hours that...

It's nearly four years since we last stayed here and I am pleased to say that we enjoyed it as much as last time. The room was nice and clean and bathroom was spotless. The staff were so naturally friendly it almost took you by surprise but that is a standout trait of Durham people anyway. They have altered the...

Ideal overnighter in the centre of Durham. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Easy even though I was travelling alone. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good and really varied, location ideal. Parking is round the corner in a car park and £7.70 for 24 hours.

Central position and good for visiting the Durham attractions. Rooms clean and tidy, and the staff were extremely helpful ad friendly. Towels were a little worn but clean. Evening meal in the restaurant was surprising good.

Stayed here when visiting family and doing a university event. The location is really convenient for town, and service was friendly. Room was clean, decent wifi, and a kettle for tea. Big comfy beds are always nice at the premier inn. The rooms aren't fancy but they are perfect for a short stay and a good night's sleep.

Have just stayed three nights in this Hotel. It is well situated for the City Centre although there are a number of steps to climb in order to get there. There is a lift nearby for those that find the steps a challenge. The rooms were clean, tidy and well appointed with a good sized flat screened TV. Beds were...
