We visited last night for a meal. It was really busy and we were worried we wouldn't get in at first. Then we worried that the service would suffer due to how busy it was. However it was lovely. The meal was very nice and the service was good. Plenty of staff in the bar and kitchen.

We met up with family here for a catch up over Sunday lunch. Nice venue and friendly staff. It was a little hectic and disorganised but the food was delicious and good value, plus no charge for extra veg or gravy. My grandson knocked the table and food got knocked to the floor, no one complained and it was cleared...

Booked a table for 8 plus a highchair for a Sunday lunch with family... The Sunday lunch portions were good, and loads of extra veg was served when we asked... and was a reasonable price at £10 ish per person... The mixed grill was £20 and there wasn't as much on the plate as was expected for the price. The...

Came here for a Freemasons Ladies Night at the end of January. The venue was nice. Good food, they catered well for my food intolerance. The only negative was that we were sat near the kitchen door and so during the evening this door was mostly open and it was blowing a freezing draft on us. WE asked the staff...

Over priced bed breakfast you can't swing a cat in the rooms and very expensive for a drink and the power shower is a trickle and the bar staff are not friendly I have nothing more to say about this dump

Lovely surroundings, comfortable and warm. The staff are excellent nothing too much trouble to them very attentive even though other things going on in function rooms. Had a lovely sizzling platter stir fry and delectable dessert. Just a quick lunchtime meal but made special. Also had Sunday lunch on other occasions superb.

Stayed for two nights arrived mid afternoon to a warm welcome. Small double room on the first floor, perfectly adequate for one but may have been a little tight for two as there was only one chair a second would have to use the bed to relax and watch television. Bathroom tiny but a good shower cubicle and nice complimentary...

We visited Bowburn Hall for New Year's Day lunch. We didn't get a menu to choose from prior to the day as it wasn't finalised, however there was a good choice. Food was lovely here...best Sunday dinner I've had in a while however the service was horrendous. After sitting with dirty plates in front of us for half an hour...

Stayed for 1 night on New Year's Day. All staff friendly, the hotel is small but welcoming. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the back garden area. The room was small but for a nights stay was fine and it was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very small also, very tight squeeze with way it's designed...
