Usual premier inn experience so spotlessly clean. Room was a good size, fit in 2 extra beds for kids without having to step over anyone on the way to the bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location just off the A1. Table Table restaurant next door was average!

Excellent location for exploring the surrounding area, yet only a few minutes drive from Durham City centre. Usual comfortable room with plenty of space plus bath and shower. The neighbouring Table Table restaurant is handy to eat if looking to have an accompanying drink, but much nicer restaurants are a short drive away in Durham centre. The bonus feature? Shelves...

This Premier is very convienent for a visit to Durham just off the A1. The Staff were excellent and the room very clean and comfortable. Have stayed here before and will certainly use again in the future.

Stayed at this Premier Inn many times over the years we always receive a friendly welcome. Rooms always clean and tidy, this was a three day break and everything was up to the usual high standard as was the restaurant next door.

1 night stay, heating didn't work which was a bit of a pain as didn't realise until the morning I left but otherwise room was fine and staff very welcoming. The restaurant well..... a lot to be desired, was asked how I like my steak and I don't remember saying chewy, the breakfast was cold so couldn't eat it and...

I use Premier Inns because I know that I can rely on them being of a good standard and not too expensive. Durham East was no exception. The location is never wonderful as most seem to be located on the edge of industrial estates! However, the room facilities are perfectly adequate and the breakfasts are good value for money. I've...

Very well positioned hotel with standard Premier Inn set up. Only small gripe is the breakfast toaster that produces warm bread as opposed to toast. Great location if you have a child who is at Durham University & needs to be picked up/dropped off.

A clean and secure hotel with very friendly staff from front desk to house keeping. The restaurant had great food and friendly staff. I well recommend it! I was there for two day, a single female and felt safe and secure and very comfortable. It is situated a little way out of Durham but a reasonable taxi journey.

After having terrible experience with Travellodge last year, we chose to stay at a Premier Inn. Best decision ever! Easy to find, minutes from the A1, lovely staff, great room, breakfast amazing. Would definitely recommend, and use again.
