From the moment you arrive Julia and Iain make you feel at home. Rooms are light and airy with a lovely modern bathroom. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful and includes a beautiful array of fresh fruit. We'll definitely return.

Right from the greeting at the door, the feeling of staying with good friends was with us through the four days of our stay at this beautifully kept B&B. Iain and Julia were the perfect hosts, the room was as clean and bright as a new pin, decor like brand new and a breakfast of wonderful food just the way we like it with a selection to rival any 5 star hotel. Blue Waters Lodge is also very nicely positioned in a quiet road a few minutes walk to the sea front and pier and close to Paignton town centre with its steam railway station and busy parade of shops of a traditional nature. In our view, as regulars at many B&Bs nation-wide this is the one not to be missed. Book early to avoid disappointment!

A beautiful Guest House for Bed and Breakfast in Paignton is the Blue Waters Lodge. Julia and Iain are friendly hosts and will make your stay enjoyable and fun. It is close by all the local tourist attractions of beaches, the pier, zoo, shops, a castle, restaurants and bars as well as long walks on the coast or inland in the beautiful countryside close by. A short drive away is Torquay, Brixham and other toursit spots of Devon. Highly Recommended. Paul D.

Long weekend at the Blue Water Lodge B&B. Slight hiccup when we initially arrived, but very quickly rectified by Colin. Our room was absolutely spotless and smelt wonderful. The towels were the fluffiest and thickest we have ever had and we have stayed in a lot of 5* luxury hotels. Colin and Jackie were the perfect hosts very warm, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was outstanding with so much variety. Well done Colin and Jackie you are the perfect hosts. We would definitely stay again if visiting Paignton.

Had a lovely warm welcome from Jackie and Colin on arrival at their b and b. A lovely cosy room with all the amenities. En-suite bathroom, nice and roomy. Nice roomy shower but water flow a bit slow through the shower head. Nice t.v. coffee, tea and biscuits. Jackie did a wonderful breakfast 😋. 10 out of 10. Absolutely faultless. Colin was a very good host. Humourous and couldn't do enough for you. Making sure you had enough coffee, tea and toast. You could come and go as you pleased. Jackie was very kind to my friend recommending a couple of things to help her medical conditions which have and are being so beneficial to her so thankyou so much Jackie. We did have one problem as we do both have mobility problems and that is the lack of parking. We had to park down the next street but luckily managed to find a space with a bit of a walk back to the b and b. It wasn't far but far enough for us. Overall a lovely stay with a lovely couple and would highly recommend. Paignton is a good base to have to visit Nice places. Thankypu Jackie and Colin for you hospitality and kindness. Rachel and Mandy Xx
