We stayed at seahaven just for one night. The location is handy for the seafront and town centre. We had a warm welcome and were given a room at the front. The room of a decent size and was clean with a comfortable bed. The en-suite was rather small and cramped and in need of an update. The breakfast was...

Worst hotel room I have ever seen, never mind stayed in. Shower room, mouldy dirty black grout all around the shower tray, tiles and doors, it was that dirty we couldn't bring ourselves to stand inside so it was a quick wash in the sink and I mean a quick wash! Ceiling wallpaper falling off, dirty and tea stained doors...

Good points - location fantastic. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Owner friendly especially with my 3 year granddaughter. Less good points - grouting in shower terrible, discoloured and very badly applied. Breakfast a bit mean, nice sausage and bacon, two bits of mushroom, half a tomato, small spoon of beans, undercooked egg and fried bread. Cheapest bread and orange juice,...

We needed three double rooms for a one night stay in August, for a family birthday party. This is a big ask in August! The Travel Lodge was available, but at over £120 per room. a little pricey. The Seahaven is very basic, one of the rooms very small, but for what we needed was fine. The breakfast was freshly...

On arrival the owner was very grumpy no hello how are you only got "have you...

Only positive thing was a very nice breakfast. I definitely won't stay there again as the bathroom was dirty - grime on walls, dust across shower tops and mess around toilet. Plus bathroom door wouldn't open fully as not enough room with bed so close and the wall paper on ceiling was coming off. Not ideal for the £118 I...

We were very hesitant about staying here as the reviews were negative about staff and the B and B as a whole. However, we were greeted by a friendly, welcoming man who was helpful with parking. (free parking between 6pm and 8am outside the B&B) Lovely staff serving breakfast. Clean and big room. Free wifi. Kettle and mugs. It was...

We only stayed here for one night, which after staying for, I was very relieved about. We only paid 40 pound for the night so might say you can't complain at that price but there's so much wrong with this place, I would've paid double not to have stayed here if anywhere else had been available. In brief, owners are...

Stayed one night, had two rooms. My daughter was running in Torbay half marathon, and we wanted to be rested for the morning. Both rooms were small and compact, but clean and tidy. Everything we needed for a good nights sleep. We're impressed with the value for money. We enjoyed a very good full English breakfast, and found the hosts...
