A small newly refurbished adult-only hotel, just 15 yards from a gorgeous sandy beach, we have stunning uninterrupted, panoramic sea-views from our relaxing conservatory and bedrooms. We serve delicious hearty breakfasts, and optional home-cooked evening meals. All rooms are en-suite with free WIFI and many small touches of luxury, or upgrade to a Deluxe or Superior Room for that Boutique feel with extras such as Nespresso Coffee Machines, walk in rainfall showers and Smart LED TVs. Lovely position, very friendly owners, breakfast was very high quality. Rooms were nice and a high spec, nicely decorated, bathroom was tiny though. A well chilled 4 day break enjoyed by my wife and I.

A well appointed hotel with a friendly approach to visitors. The owners are knowledgeable about the area and have good suggestions about where to go. Out of the main town but within easy walking distance it is away from hustle and bustle. Nothing was too much trouble!

Whilst the property was very clean and in a lovely location, it cannot be called a Boutique hotel! The rooms are tiny, stuffed with Ikea furniture, despite claiming it isn't, the price is extortionate and the male host was positively rude and un-accomodating to a couple of simple requests. And the breakfast was not freshly cooked.

Lovely clean hotel and perfect for our stay. The only reason I have given a low rating is I still haven't had my £100 damages bond back even after 2 emails. There was definitely no damage so not sure why.

A very friendly hotel run by a husband and wife team. The room was extremely well appointed with a magnificent view over Torbay. The rom even had a pair of binoculars for viewing the Bay. A generous breakfast was provided.

Just returned from 2 nights on a work trip. As a solo guest I was very impressed by the way owners Pete and Ruth go out their way to make you feel very welcome and comfortable. The hotel has a fantastic decor and layout and location is fab for the beach and town. Loved my stay.

Loved our stay at the Channel View. Highley recommend the sea view rooms, the breathtaking morning views reallu made our stay. The hotel is immaculate, rooms cleaned and tea and coffee replenished day! The breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs, was delicious. The friendly atmosphere is who really made our stay! Friendly and knowledgable of the local areas, full or recommendations! Can not wait to return!

Had lovely weekend here with 12 friends to celebrate my birthday. Peter and Ruth made us really welcome, they were really knowledgeable on where to visit, best places to eat etc. Lovely choice of breakfast that had to be ordered the night before. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The linen was of the highest quality. Would highly recommend.

Had a great stay here, the room overlooking the sea was very clean and the shower/toilet was very clean and modern, we had had a great view with the sound of the waves to wake up to,,, the host was great and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had staying in a B&B, the hotel has off road parking and is a 10 minute walk from the pier so you have no evening noise but not to far from the attractions, would definitely recommend to everyone wanting a place to stay in Paignton and would definitely return.
