What a lovely hotel ,we had a sea view which was great. The room had everything we needed.
Breakfast are freshly cooked and plentiful.

What makes this hotel extra special is the owners,Sarah and Paul. Never have we met such a welcoming couple who really want you to enjoy your stay.
Nothing is to much trouble for them.

They only took over the hotel last year and we're sure they will endeavour to keep on improving anything they can.

If your looking for a clean, comfortable well positioned hotel we would certainly recommend The Seaways.

Oh it might be worth mentioning we only booked for four nights but stayed an extra two which speaks volumes.

Thank you for a lovely stay.

Sue and Dave x

Was supposed to be going to the Lancashire area when it went into tier 3 so hunted another area and decided on Paignton.. came across this hotel and checked and it was available. Arrived the following day to a warm greeting from Sarah and Paul. I was shown our sea view luxury double on the top (2nd) floor. It has a lovely view across the bay, you are probably less than a hundred yards from the beach. The room had a four poster bed, two comfortable chairs and plenty of draw space as well as a good size wall cupboard. It, like all rooms, has an en-suite shower room. Road noise is noticeable at times but once you shut the windows the double glazing cuts most of that out. And if you want to bring your dog that is no problem.
Breakfast is included in the price and Breakfast was a choice of cereals and yoghurts and a beautiful full English. If something else was needed Paul and Sarah did there best to accommodate. The bar was limited but again if something was missing they did there best to get it for the next evening. Nothing seems to much trouble. Good hotel with comfortable beds in a Fantastic location and great hosts what more could you want.

Lovely hotel and the owners, Paul & Sarah, are fantastic hosts, making sure you have everything you need but without being pushy. We went sea swimming each morning and on our return they took our wetsuits from us, dried them during the day, and delivered them back to our room in the evening ready for the next days swim. We haven’t had that at proper ‘sports hotels’. Breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice. The sea view rooms really offer amazing views. The front deck is great for relaxing with a drink and watching the waves roll in. A lovely friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely return.

We stayed here for one week and decided on the ground floor suite. Although more expensive it was worth it for 2 separate bedrooms, small lounge area and bathroom, also our own entrance through patio doors, handy when you have dogs!! We had 3 dogs altogether and Paul and Sarah were always on hand to help with anything, they couldn’t do enough!! Breakfast was superb, choice of cereals, fruit juice, croissants and then a full English breakfast. They are situated right opposite a green which is handy for the dogs. We managed to find dog friendly beaches even in September so that was a bonus too. Would highly recommend and thank you Paul and Sarah !! Oh forgot to mention you can order a take away and they provide hot plates and cutlery!! Bonus!!

We stayed here for a week and parked right outside we were made to feel welcome immediately. Paul and Sarah are a lovely couple, there’s nothing they won’t do to accommodate you if they can. We had a nice room with an amazing sea view… the beach is literally across the road and everything you need is on the doorstep so perfect location. Breakfast is fantastic beautifully cooked and good quality food. Would recommend anyone who’s going to Paignton to stay here great value for money

A very warm welcome, the hosts are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The house was decorated lovely for Christmas and a log fire adds to the ambiance in the dining room. The sea view from the window is wonderful.
Parking is at the front or rear of the property and you can walk everywhere easily on a level surface along the beach side.
The bus service is excellent, about a 10 min walk to the bus station.
Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and a variety. Served with a smile and an informative on the area, host Paul!

I don't think we could of been more impressed with this lovely hotel. On arrival, we were given a very warm welcome, Paul offered to take our suitcase up to our room. You don't get that in many places. Throughout our stay, we were made to feel at home, nothing was too much trouble, our children were made to feel included which is a very important thing to us and they loved it too. Breakfast was lovely, facilities are brilliant, location is fantastic and a stones throw to the beach. Great value for money too. We couldn't be happier we chose to stay here. We have to say, Paul and Sarah have done a fantastic job with this place and long may it last. We will definitely be booking here again for our trip next year. Thankyou so much.

We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend of my Mums wedding. Nothing was too much trouble, and our hosts went above & beyond to accommodate my partner & myself, along with other members of my family who also stayed here.
An excellent breakfast is served every morning, plenty of options and the food is cooked to fresh to order.
I have to give Jedi a special mention- what a lovely little pooch!
We will be returning in the spring :)

We had a lovely time during our stay with Paul and sarah . We were met by smiley faces and warm welcome after a 3 hour trip with our dog Archie. We were suppose to stop in the garden view room but got upgraded to a sea view room which had great views. Nice room plenty of space for our things. The shower was a bit disappointing as the lever kept lowering causing it to stop . Lovely breakfast and we ate in peace in the dog friendly breakfast room. We would certainly return within a heart beat. We gave it 4 out of 5 mainly due to the shower. But on the whole a lovely warm vibe and excellent location. We travel extensively throughout the UK and we would definitely recommend it. Thank you paul and Sarah x your doing a fab job..

Our only complaint about this hotel is that we didn’t stay longer, lovely little clean hotel with lovely owners in a beautiful location. We were greeted by Sarah who told us all we needed to know about the area, Breakfast is served by Paul and they have everything you would want. We parked our car out the front. There are seats to sit and watch the world go by at the front. We didn’t get a sea view as we only booked a few days before our stay, next time I will try and book a sea view. 🤞🏻
