This hotel is amazing. We stopped here in June 2021 and are looking forward to going back. To start with the owners are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. As soon as we arrived we were offered a lovely cup of tea before unpacking the car. The rooms are lovely and clean. We had a dog with us and it was a great touch to find a dog towel, treats and a name tag for the collar just in case she got lost they would know when she came from. The beds are so comfy and I loved the fact that with the normal tea and coffee they add hot chocolate and cappuccino options. We were given a front door key so we could come and go as we pleased. The breakfast was amazing, lots of different options and I would highly recommend the full English.
The location is great for the beach, restaurants and a local park across the road for the dog. Everything was safe and the hotel were really good with all the covid guidelines which were in place at the time of our visit.
I can't wait to come back in the autumn, thank you for such a lovely holiday x x

Just returned from another short break at St Weonards. We had a lovely stay. The owners are very welcoming and hospitable and the hotel is spotlessly clean with spacious comfortable rooms that are very dog friendly. The breakfast is excellent with a good variety of options and the location is ideal for everything Paignton has to offer. Will definitely return

Absolutely 100% perfect stay. Hotel itself is in a spot on location that it’s close to all amenities including beach, park for dog walking, shops, train station, pubs, restaurants etc
Everywhere inside from the hall reception, dining room, landings to the bedroom and bathroom are modern and well cleaned and tidy, bedroom and en suite especially.
Morning breakfast is top notch and very filling for the day ahead
As our first time ever in Paignton (with pooch in tow), we was very impressed by this hotel (dog loved the little treats too)
Vicky & Leigh are fantastic hosts and very welcoming
Will definitely book again and highly recommend this fantastic dog friendly hotel

We found St Weonards when searching for a dog friendly B&B to stay in Torbay as bringing our fur baby is essential for us. We couldn’t believe how little B&Bs that don’t allow dogs, so St Weonards have definitely found a niche and it was the perfect find for us.

We had such a wonderful stay! The B&B is incredible value for money, situated perfectly in the middle of Paignton, parking provided, the breakfast was the BEST we’ve ever had when staying somewhere (you can really tell how amazing the produce is, especially the eggs!), we slept well although the pillows were a little hard however that’s personal preference.

We couldn’t believe how immaculate the room was too considering it’s dog friendly. So for anyone thinking of staying here without a dog, you wouldn’t know they had dogs here by the cleanliness of the room! There weren’t any dog treats left our for our pooch as advertised, but Edie can forgive you as you kindly stored her yucky food for her ;-)

A last big thank you to the amazing Vicky and Leigh who were super friendly, accommodating and not in your face! They are great hosts and should be super proud of their little gem that is St Weonards. An extra thank you for the lovely welcome from Leigh and the complimentary birthday choccies! I couldn’t think of anywhere better to spend my birthday and mini getaway. Thanks guys, we will definitely be back next time we’re down!

Just spent a fantastic weekend with my wife and dog (Ruby) at St Weonards, our stay there was perfect in every way. The proprietors Leigh and Vicky ( not forgetting their charming daughter Alice) were absolutely fantastic hosts, their knowledge of places to eat and things to do was very refreshing. The room we had had everything you could possibly need, the en-suite shower room with a beautiful large shower cubicle, to the selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate were all very well thought out. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and cooked to perfection. The licenced bar was a nice surprise. All that with free parking so close to the sea front adds up to a fantastic place to stay. We will definitely be back, with Ruby, who loved the bag of dog treats that were in the room.

This was our 4th or 5th stay at St Weonards (should of done a weekend in April but Covid but stop to that! cheers..not!) The B&B is right in the heart of Paignton and convenient for everywhere..it's a little home from home for us and Vicky and Leigh are definitely wonderful hosts nothing is ever too much for them. We've stayed in both room 5(double ensuite) and room 2 (king ensuite) both rooms are spotlessly clean, tidy and comfy. Excellent showers..(I love a rainhead shower..makes it easier when washing hair!) Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and hot chocolate (Galaxy) too and no issues with any top ups. Covid rules followed with Vicky and Leigh not entering your room unless asked, in order to comply with rules. We left our towels outside the room in a laundry bag and fresh towels were given as well as loo roll.. now the exciting bit... BREAKFAST..tea/coffee - served in a pot! Cereals, fruit, yoghurt and toast to start with selection of jams and Marmite (eurghhh you either love it or hate it!) Then the best bit..main breakfast..choice is excellent..full English. (Leigh does the best scrambled eggs and omlettes ever tasted!) Choice of French toast, scotch pancakes or just a sausage/bacon sarnie..leaves you full and satisfied till late afternoon.. I always tell everyone to see if there's availability with Vicky and Leigh when visiting Paignton. We'll be back..as we always are..thanks both and we'll see you all soon.

I am a solo parent with a 5 year old. For the first time I also travelled with our 7 month old puppy, Betty. I drove to Devon from Manchester for our annual family trip ( with my parents staying on a nearby caravan site) I decided to try a B&B stay at a pet friendly hotel to see how it compared for a solo parent traveller.I can not fault my stay, it was a total success.

For the moment I arrived I was given a warm welcome and offered tea / coffee. I was given clear instructions about my stay and the facilities which the hotel provided. Lee and Vicky then carried my belongings to my room and locked them inside whilst me, my daughter and Betty when for dinner. ( nearby fish and chip shop stones throw from hotel).

I stayed 4 nights , the rooms have everything you need. They even have lovely added touches such as dog treats , dog blanket and dog towel for the pooches, with bath robes for the humans! There are fully stocked tea tray with hot chocs ( which my 5 year old loved!) Selection of tea and coffees and they even have a bar selection in the dining area with "honesty piggy bank " For payment. For me as a solo parent the little touches made my stay much easier. If my daughter needed a drink one was to hand .

The beds are super comfy and we all slept like logs.

The rooms are spotlessly clean as was the bathroom and shower.

Mine and my daughter's most fave part had to be the superb breakfast. Fantastic choice ( I am veggie) and beautifully presented. Lee and Vicky are naturals to this role and nothing is too much effort for them.

This really is a gem of a BnB and surpassed all my expectations of a pet friendly hotel. Lee and Vicky have clearly put a great deal of hard work into this place and the result is a very safe stay, super comfy nights sleep in a clean room, finished with a delicious breakfast in the morning to set u up for a day of exploring the English Riviera. What more could you want :-)

We stayed at St Weonards for two nights and we couldn't fault anything at all. The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of cereal, toast, full English and yoghurt etc. Vicki and Leigh were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Also the location to the beach, pier and lots of shops and cafes, and restaurants is only around the corner. We would highly recommend St Weonards

Spent a weekend here and absolutely loved it. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and have everything that you would possibly need even hair straighteners. The little touches like a range of teas and coffees and high quality soap/body wash are great. Breakfast was amazing, so many different options to choose from and they cater for all needs even if you have an intolerance. You can tell they source some of the best quality ingredients and take pride in delivering yummy food. There is also such a nice addition with drinks available 24/7 as long as you feed the piggy bank (honesty bar). Vicky and Leigh are perfect hosts. They make sure that you have every thing you need and are very welcoming. The B and B is in such a fantastic location with the beach only being a 2 minute walk and everything on your doorstep.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast, in a great location very close to Town Centre ,rail Station Beach once we got the car parked in our allocated parking space we were able to walk everywhere as such a great location.
Really great hosts good breakfast with so much choice and a lovely evening meal.
Being greeted with a pot of Tea on arrival was a nice touch.
The room was big enough for the both of us and was vey quiet, shower good with the advantage of a large head or choice of smaller shower, plenty of tea and coffee in the room
