Detailed Reviews
Managed to book up the whole of the property as a late booking due to holiday cancellation and wow I was half glad it was cancelled. If you are looking for somewhere very private and different look no further. The charm of this property is second to none. The location is perfect with three nearby beaches (2 being coves). All with views to die for. Mandy and Michael are the perfect hosts and we had great time learning more about the working farm etc. Brixham and Paington are not far and there are a couple of pubs you can walk to. Overall loved it. We had great weather and gutted to leave!

We normally stay in one of the many small B&B's actually in Paignton when visiting relatives locally. We decided to give Elberry Farm a try, mainly for the parking (which is usually difficult in Paignton) but also because of the excellent reviews on TA. We were not disappointed and will definitely return on future trips.
We were greeted with tea and scones on arrival which was a nice touch. Our room was really comfortable and breakfast excellent.
The location is very convenient for both Paignton and Brixham, or indeed visiting the area generally. All in all a great choice. Thoroughly recommended.

We booked 5 nights at Elberry Farm with our two young children. From the moment we arrived we felt at home despite being on a working farm, we felt welcomed by our lovely hosts.
Our room was comfortable and very clean. It was cleaned daily and nothing was too much trouble for Mandy who looked after our needs (with our baby).
The children loved the delicious breakfasts and rural setting. The horses and chickens provided fun for our little boy and the nearby cove was a magical find. We just need to remember our swimwear next time! 😄
You will feel so welcome at Elberry Farm. A good night's sleep and a walk around the beautiful beach area. You will feel so refreshed. And if not, Mandy's coffee will set you up for the day! We will be back in the Spring.

It was a last minute booking, we were lucky to find this gem of a B&B. Our twin room was compact, good for one night but maybe a bit cramped if staying longer. It was clean, stylish, and very comfortable with its own bathroom attached. Mandy made us feel at home immediately offering us a cup of tea on the lawn in the lovely garden. It s a working farm so we were treated to the company of horses and their working spring spaniels who all sat patently outside on the wall waiting for their breakfast while we ate our delicious breakfast inside. Yes, would definitely visit Elberry Farm again and recommend this quirky place to friends.

Elberry Farm,
This place is magical, the location idyllic and the hosts are like your best friends...
Having stayed on the farm on many occasion, it's safe to say we love this place.
After checking in, Mandy (Host) is very quick to offer wealth of knowledge of the local area so you can plan your days ahead and lets us know that the farm is ours to explore should we wish to.
With that in hand we are shown to our room where that relaxed feeling takes over as you take in the serene gardens and spotlessly clean rooms.
Breakfast was served at 8:30am as promised and offered a sumptuous range of food you'd expect on a farm.
From there on we took a very short stroll to one of the two beaches that are a stones throw from the Farm (Elberry Cove) taking in the fresh morning sea air before we embarked on our day. Which was just perfect!!!
All in all, is such a fabulous place to stay, warm, welcoming and a great nights sleep.
If you ever find yourself heading to the Southwest, Elberry should be your first port of call.

A hidden gem, close to Paignton but not too close, with a sandy beach withing 5 minutes walk and a secret cove the same distance. Lovely clean and comfortable accommodation with welcoming hosts on a working farm with crazy dogs and a friendly cat, what more could you want. Highly Recommended.

Mandy is a lovely, personable owner of Elberry Farm b and b and we have always been made to feel very welcome every time we stay here. The location is perfect for broadsands beach or a short coastal walk to Elberry Cove. The rooms are a good size too and very clean.

Stayed with daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandchildren for 5 nights, as part of celebrating our Ruby Wedding; this was our eighth visit since 1980s!
Mandy and Michael Tooze provide a peaceful, friendly and pleasant location, off the beaten track, but very close to Broadsands beach which is one of the best sandy beaches in Torbay. The bedrooms have been nicely modernised since our first stays which were when Michael's parents were running it.
All accommodation is kept very clean and comfortable; breakfasts are excellent and Mandy seeks to meet the exact needs of her guests.
The walled garden to the rear is really large and mostly laid to grass so that guests can use for ball games; excellent for children. Parking is readily available in courtyard. Farm is easily accessible from Torbay ring road and there are restaurants and cafes within easy reach for evening meals. Brixham is nearby with its many restaurants to suit all tastes. The beach has a good cafe for drinks and lunchtime snacks.
There are plenty of things to do locally with water sports at Elberry Cove and kayaks/canoes at beach. Goodrington, Paignton and Torquay are easily accessible as well as the steam train to Kingsweir and Dartmouth..
We all enjoyed our stay and meeting Mandy and Michael again, who make you feel really most welcome.

I have stayed at this hotel in the last four/five years, but the best was yet to come when I booked up the whole b& B for the Regatta weekend, and wow what a weekend it was. Arriving saturday, we are as I have always been made welcome, and shown to our rooms, My future step daughter and her bay had to leave my performance early, but the nice thing was that she would her been on her own once Isla was asleep, so the landlady was ordering chinese, and kindly ordered some for Beth.. Mandy , you are just the best, and I mean that, you get it straight. I will always go back time and time and time again.
Thanks for a great weekend, which I have enjoyed your company and that of your lovely family, from all of us 27-8- 29-8-16.
