Stayed 3 nights over the Air Show weekend. Check in was easy. Entrance spotless. Great location to harbour & shops. Parking is allocated but tight. No wide disabled spots tho. Room is up on the first floor and overlooks the seafront. Ideal for air show. Space in room is tight & small. Kitchen down one wall. Tv ok. Bathroom fine. Bed was much too firm for my liking and duvet was much too thick for July. Asked cleaner next day to be told these duvets are used all year round. 13.5 tog 🤔 There was bird poo all over the balcony door. This should of been cleaned off prior to us arriving as not a good impression especially as balcony door opens into room. (So bird poo ends up...room side.) Fridge is noisy & at night you get boy racers along seafront racing with noisy exhausts. Enjoyed the air show but glad i hadnt booked more than 3 nights I need my sleep. Emailed owner upon departure as id received a email off her to say hope you enjoyed your stay. Replied to say we had few issues. No reply. Would i stay here again? No If id had a reply. Had option of summer duvet. Cleaner cleans bird poo. Then id consider another stay. But theres nothing worse than ignorant negligent owners.

An excellent apartment in a great location, opposite the beach and near to the harbour. The apartment and whole building was beautifully presented, bright and modern with a seaside vibe. The apartment was spotless, with a well stocked kitchen. Parking was directly outside the front and rear of the property and free. We stayed in Crabby Cove Apartment, which was well laid out, comfortable with good sized rooms. The beds were comfortable including the sofa bed. The shower was a good size, water was always hot and had high water pressure. The iPad, with its welcome messages, video user guides and general information, was a great addition and allowed for easy contact with the owners who responded quickly. Will definitely stay here again when next in Paignton.

We stayed here in April in the Lighthouse room - it was lovely with a sea view a small balcony (you cannot sit out but it was nice to have the door open) First the plusses - it was clean and well equipped for two people - the TV had a good choice of channels, the wifi was good, the bed comfortable and the location great with dedicated parking. You could also walk to town and the restaurants and the beach. There are some good pubs in the harbor with views over the water - a great place to sit and have wine. Now the negatives which are easy to improve to get this to 5 star - firstly I guess they need to decide if they are an airbnd or what their target market is - there were no supplies except some sanitizer in the kitchen - it would be nice to have at least coffee for the coffee maker - or a small welcome pack - there was no shampoo or conditioner or soap for the shower (we found a small Premier supermarket in the harbor to get supplies) and to charge 3 pounds extra per person for towels was ridiculous (1 hand towel, 1 bath towel) - put 10.00 on the rate per night and include towels. The bathroom was very small - you could sit on the toilet wash your hands in the basin and have you feet in the shower - there was no place to put washbag or hand towels in the bathroom - a shelf and a couple of hooks would easily fix this. Also the unit is up 2 flights of stairs - dont take heavy luggage. Also check out is 9.30am - hardly time to get up and have a shower and breakfast before you need to leave - most hotels and airbnbs have a later check out time -even 10am would be better. Also the laundry area was closed - not sure why as COVID was over - did we need it - no - but if it is there is should be it open. Overall if in the area again we would stay here and hope next time we can give it 5 stars

Lovely little home away from home to relax with beautiful views out - it is little though! Sofa bed is a little cosy for two children (12 & 6) - so might be a push for anyone older. Clean and fresh interior, but it could do with a slightly larger wash hand basin in the shower room! And might help to have a clock!

We booked Seagulls Rest and Crabby Cove apartments for a girls weekend, both were lovely properties in a fantastic location. The apartments were beautifully decorated with everything that we needed, facilities were excellent and we all had a great sleep. A very short walk to Harbour light where we had a great meal, Shoreline where we had a lovely breakfast and the Adventure Golf was just over the road. The only negative comment I would make is in regard to paying an additional £3 per person for a towel, it should really just be included in the price, as should the cleaning fee, it was a bit like airbnb in that sense.

Stayed here for 2 nights in the Mermaids View apartment and it was amazing. Very modern and well finished apartments, everything was spotless. It was lovely to be able to sit at the table having breakfast while looking at the sea. The bathroom had a very large shower and a heated towel rail although a couple of hooks on the bathroom door would be handy. The heating seems to be on a timer so even though we changed the temperature in the room the radiator didn't come on again until morning, not an issue though as it was warm enough with the duvet. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped including a fridge with a freezer box in, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and hob, plus all of the utensils you would need, the only thing we seemed to be missing was a bottle opener/corkscrew. We would not hesitate to come back or to recommend.

We have just arrived home after spending a week at Sunnybeach apartments. We were in Mermaids View (Room 1) a ground floor apartment (although there are about 5 steps up to the front door so maybe not suited for disabled people, although the photos on the site do clearly show the steps) I have some mobility problems but found it wasn’t difficult to go up the steps using the handrail and my walking stick. The room was spacious and lovely and clean. The bathroom had a large walk in shower, heated towel rail, hand basin, toilet and large wall cabinet, two toilet rolls were provided. The only downside was that there isn’t anywhere to hang dressing gowns, clothes etc, other than over the heated towel rail, a couple of hooks on the door would easily solve this problem, but it’s not enough of a issue for us to mark it down. The fridge was large enough, for our essentials plus beer, wine, chocolate (well, we were on holiday) there was also a microwave, oven and two burner hob, although we didn’t use them, a matching kettle and toaster was a nice touch The large bed was softer than we were used to but was nice and comfy, the chest of drawers, clothes rail and bedside cabinets were more than adequate for our clothes storage The table and chairs in the bay window were perfect to sit at and look at the view or watch the world go by, the two armchairs were very comfy although it could have benefitted from having something between the chairs or at the side to stand my cup or glass on, as my hubby had to keep passing it to me from the chest of drawers There was a lovely sea view from the bed, armchairs and the table, so wherever you sat you had a lovely view. It is just a short walk into Paignton, to the beach or along the pier, plus crazy golf is just opposite the property,, Brixham and Torquay are an easy drive/bus ride away Your key is held in a key safe, the owner texts you the key code as soon as your room is ready, we had just parked up overlooking the beach when we got our text, so just drove across the road and parked up, they have free parking for each flat (a real bonus) although the spaces are a bit tight, they’re the same size as all the others in the area. The one thing we did find annoying is the doors are heavy and tend to bang, being on the ground floor right next to the front door we heard everyone coming in or out, most people did try to close the door quietly but not all, unfortunately there were 3 lads above us who tended to be noisy, letting the door bang, speaking loudly, coming in and out several times at night, the latest they came in was about 4:30am, which woke us up each time but hey-ho, they were on holiday as well and didn’t cause any other trouble, There was frequently a smell of ‘weed’ but we think it was coming from a room at the neighbouring large hotel, All in all a lovely stay at a lovely apartment
