Had a one night stay with friends, and it was amazing. Linda was the best host second to none. She was very welcoming and let us take our two dogs. We had a lovely big room overlooking the front garden. The room was very clean and the shower room was massive. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to...

We spent two nights here and could not have been made to feel more welcome. We had a clean, comfortable recently decorated room with a terrific shower (which was a real treat especially after a long run along the costal path that begins a stone's throw from the house). Our breakfasts were top notch, and we enjoyed then in the...

Chose Thorntonloch House as a convenient location for the Scottish Open Golf Tournament, and also because of the many favourable reviews on Tripadvisor. We were warmly welcomed, but informed that as they were at full capacity with contractors working locally, the lounge was out of action as the guys who had been in our room had been moved there to...

We have stayed at several B&B's and this is definitely at the top. Not only is the place really nice, our room was large, warm, had a beautiful view and the best bathroom we have ever experienced at a B&B. But even all this does not reach the owners to size! It is rare to meet so service-minded people. We...

I stayed at Thorntonloch House for two days in May. The service was outstanding and I wish that I could've stayed there for a few more days. The nearby beach and surrounding area was very nice to walk and I really recommend future guests to go out and have a look. Lovely owners, cute dogs, great breakfast and fantastic place...

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst celebrating our friends wedding and felt right at home! A beautiful house with lovely rooms and the best cooked breakfast (made to order) each morning. As we had booked out all the rooms and there were no other guests, we were encouraged to treat the place as our own. An amazing B&B-would definitely recommend...

Couldn't agree more with 'DonkScotland'. A great place to stay, beautiful old house, sensitively restored and with one of the best en suite showers ever (didn't test the spa bath!). Wonderfully welcoming hosts who couldn't do enough for you (even gave me lifts in to Dunbar when I was stuck). As a solo traveller it is so lovely to have...

Desperately needing a short break and were lucky to get booked in for three nights at Thorntonloch House. Know and love the area, but unable to camp at the site below the House this summer as we have done for several years, so were delighted to get a "fix" of this wonderful place with its great beaches, oodles of space,...
