There aren’t many places we choose to return to, but this is one of them. In fact, this year we’ve been twice! It’s because the couple running this hotel, and their team, are exceptionally good hosts. If you want somewhere clean, comfortable, peaceful, relaxing and, above all, welcoming, this is the place to stay. The food is good quality and well-cooked. Bill and Jackie have excellent local knowledge, particularly in relation to walking and wild life. Recommend this hotel unreservedly.

We enjoyed 4 nights at this smashing hotel. Really nice hosts, lovely food, hotel spotless. Bill was so interesting to talk to, an ex London cabbie he knew my childhood home of Chelsea very well and I enjoyed talking to him. The bar is decked out in West Ham football memorabilia. But we still liked having a drink pre dinner in there 🥴 Thank you Bill and Jackie for a lovely holiday and congratulations on your successful business.

Brilliant hotel. 3 course evening meal over generous portions, breakfast the same. Family run hotel, the couple who run it are really friendly and fun. Would say this is a great place to stay if looking for a clean comfortable small hotel

We stayed in this hotel for the third time and received a warm welcome from Bill & Jackie. The food is home cooked and excellent. The bedrooms are spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. We have booked again for next year. Highly recommended

Hosts 10/10; cleanliness 10/10; facilities 10/10; food 11/10 ! Sleep Quality 10/10; Would we stay here again, silly question …. most definitely . (With apologies to “Four in a Bed “). The hotel is situated in a great position being just a five minute walk to Shanklin Chine and the town and even less to the Esplanade lift. Booked direct with the hotel to include the ferry crossings, totally hassle free.
