we arrived at the Victoria Lodge by default as other hotel had double booked us. we had the most fantastic welcome from alysa and her family considering they were closed for renovations. the breakfast was hearty and filling. it was my birthday the next day and while we were out the children put a happy birthday banner across the bedroom...

a really nice hotel in pleasant surroundings,a lovely view from the lounge overlooking shanklin bay.the owner alysa very friendly and helpful,and the cooked breakfast each morning was superb,would definitely recommend this hotel.

Would never return, breakfast was till 10am we arrived 9.55 just in time but they would not give us breakfast but still charged us . No hot water for the first night and the room was not very clean, there young daughter had more idea running the hotel.

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of September it was very comfortable. Small bathroom. We were So happy that it's was a dog friendly hotel. The owner was very welcoming. In walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

We were unsure what to expect as we booked on a spur of the moment Mini Family Break having never stayed here before and it's obvious dated style. But we have had a thouroghly lovely time at Victoria Lodge Hotel. The owners and family were very friendly and welcoming and only been in for their 1st season 11 weeks ago....

Recently stayed at this hotel during a short break to the IOW. Staff were extremely friendly and the location of the hotel was excellent too. I stayed here over a night and was alright. The new owners, who say have been there for 10 weeks, say they are updating over the winter. Now I am not giving it full marks because it was not great at this moment in time. The bathroom was cramped and look dirty and dated, as I said only 1 night...

Stayed here for a week, with a school party and was the best week I have had very friendly people.at the hotel nothing was ever a problem, the food was great the views were stunning, high recommend this hotel
