This is a terrible hotel the rooms are small there is no wi fi. The service at the place is shockingly abysmal. I went in to the hotel bar for a drink and was made to very inadequate and unwelcome most of all by a bar maid, called rachel. She was rude and arrogant you could tell she was looking...

Unfortunately we are unable to offer Wi-Fi in the rooms at present but there is a BT Openzone hotspot in reception which BT broadband customers can benefit the free use of. I am very surprised by your comments as Rachel is a very pleasant member of our team and would not have called her rude and arrogant at all. I'm...

Having read the reviews, I'll be honest, I was dreading what it would be like but actually it was fine. I suspect this is because I have realistic expectations. All I expected/wanted was a clean room, a bathroom I could swing a cat in, and decent enough food. I got this. I stayed in this hotel 16-20 September 2013, as...

Stayed for 4 days in room 31, ground floor, but with lots of steps from the reception and restaurant!! Room very basic but clean, towels changed daily - if required. Breakfast was very good, brilliant poached eggs, poor quality of bread for toast but never mind. Didn't mind ordering our evening meal at breakfast time, it gave you time to...

Very poor room, very basic facilities, bath only but there was a rubber hose attachment in the bathroom which when we tried to use it, it flew off the taps and soaked everything. TV was very small with only 5 channels and was very high up so we could have done with a pair of binoculars to see it. Food...

The Medehampstead is a typical 2 star seaside hotel that has seen better days. I stayed for three nights over the August Bank Holiday as part of a Leisuretime (Cardiff) cdoach tour of the Isle of Wight. My room, (No 37) was on ground level (thankfully, as I have mobility problems and there is no lift!). It contained a comfortable...

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay in this hotel. Positves are the friendly staff, entertainment. Decoration in rooms requires a good make over. Fresh towels every day walking distance to beach, shops, theatre. We were made to feel very welcome. Restaurant and bar staff go the extra mile.

12/8/2013 to 16/8/2013 Booked just a couple of week before after trawling through lodes on Booking .com one of the few that offered parking. My wife and I booked a twin room B&B. The hotel rooms are very Wood chip / Magnolia but clean and serviced daily. We had a shower en suite, the water was hot and plentiful. Towels...

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, enjoyed it. Room was clean & large enough with partial sea view, shower in a bath was sufficient! The staff was top class from the manager to the bar staff to the ones dishing out the food in the dinning room! You get what you pay for, hotel might be a bit dated...
