We have just enjoyed yet another stay at Ventnor Towers. We have been visiting the Isle of Wight annually for a number of years and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The accommodation is clean, the staff couldn't be more pleasant and helpful, the views are fantastic with easy access to wonderful, occasionally challenging, walks. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious and...

Stayed here for a Wedding Reception. Building is very tired but there are areas where they have tried to modernise things. Room we had was a double and on the first inspection looked very nice but a closer look revealed walls where there had been damp damage not repaired fully. Bathroom was very modern with good fittings, shower cubicle could...

Yes, the place needs a facelift, and a big one at that.... and yes, yes the food service is a bit slow.... and yes, if you are disabled this isn't the place for you... but there were more positives than that. The food served to our large group of 40 was of good quality, plenty of it too... the breakfasts...

Just been to a conference last weekend at this large family run hotel and had a comfortable stay. The sea views are almost panoramic and spectacular of course, the food was very nice (and has been every time I've been to a function here previously). The heating was a bit too warm for my liking but other people might welcome...

Hotel cancelled booking with just 4 days to go. So that was 4 of us looking for 2 rooms elsewhere. Was spun a story about being overbooked and a mix up on availability with the mainstream booking apps. Appalling shambles. And you know what, even after having been cancelled, they were still advertising available rooms on the booking apps. Book...

We booked Sea View apartments down the road and was shocked at the accommodation. So we tried Ventnor Towers instead and was delighted with our well furnished family room. The breakfast was delicious and the staff really helpful. Our stay turned at Ventnor Towers saved our holiday on the Isle of Wight!

I have to be honest, although it does pain me as there are clearly reasons (the proprietor's health amongst other things) for the sorry state of this hotel. It is a grand byulding with great views out over the sea. The grounds are extensive (though neglected) ... and there's a pleasant walk down to the sea wall and along into...

Our family (2 grandparents, 2 adults, 2 young children) stayed for 3 nights at the Ventnor Towers in September 2016 and had such a disappointing experience. Sadly, the hotel is very run down and doesn't look as though any love or money has gone into it for at least 20 years. Clearly the owners simply can't be bothered and both...
