A little Basil Fawlty, especially around bar area! My room was lovely, hotel is clean and the staff are amazing especially the breakfast girl. Shame no see view but an easy walk to beach, not so easy on the way back. Would highly recommend.

Came here on a 5 night deal. Price was reasonable and we got very good service, seriously good food and our premier room was spacious and pretty well equipped, but we felt the storage space was less than we needed. As we both have walking problems, a lift would have been a boon but we coped OK. We would go...

Spent 5 nights over Christmas. Wonderful food, comfortable bed in very nice room. A family run hotel with pool in summer and a gym. Staff were very efficient and charming. On the south coast of the Isle of Wight and I believe tariff includes ferry fares. Approximately 30 minutes drive from Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington ferry in the charming town...

The hotel is in two adjacent houses. The rooms are a good size and it is comfortable. It has the ambience of an old people's home, with decor to match. This isn't necessarily a complaint...I suspect my grandparents would have liked it. It's in a quiet spot but it's only a 5 minute walk into town for pubs, food etc.

Room was basic but bed comfy, tea and coffee making, hairdryer and separate shower and bath. For the price it was amazing value, only £65 a night including full English breakfast plus toast, juices, cereals and yoghurt. We were very grateful that we were allowed to take our dog with us. There's a nicely maintained little park beside the hotel...

When you think of English seaside hotels from yesteryear, then this is where this hotel sits. It was charming in its own way. Is it dated, yes in an old fashioned quaint way, but it was clean and welcoming. The owners have clearly spent some money in the rooms to modernise. My room was clean, well furnished, nicely decorated and...

Even with such a large group.everything happened swiftly and on time including meals and service. Also very comfortable public rooms which was important for a large group. Nice quiet location but only 7 minutes walk...

We are a group of more than 30 experienced Walkers (Malvern Hills District Footpath Society) who have just finished five delightful days walking on the Isle of Wight, once again basing ourselves at The Eversley Hotel in Ventnor. This is a really super hotel, excellent bedrooms, beautifully looked after, but even better is the quality of the Breakfasts and Dinners!...

We booked this hotel on spec and then found they could book the ferry for us as well. Very helpful and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for those staying. The only observation would be that during August is the dinner menu is very restrictive.

A good location near The Royal, comes with parking, a gym, swimming pool and garden to enjoy the sunshine. The room was large, the shower room dated but everything worked fine and the bed was large. Hairdryer and a TV with Freesat provided. Breakfast was a mixture of cereals, fruit salad (v good), yoghurts followed by choices of cooked, including...
