From the moment we arrived everything was perfect for our short stay . We were in room 14 which is beautifully presented, elegant and sumptuous furnishings and decor with a wonderful sea view.We slept with the window open and listened to the sounds of the sea . The gardens are semi tropical , flood lit at night and frequented by...

We returned to this hotel this Feb, after a long weekend here last March. Returning didn't disappoint at all - it was just wonderful again. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are lovely & really comfy. The staff were very helpful & professional - they made us, including our little dog, really welcome, & helped us with a room-switch to...

great fun, great views, friendly and laid back staff. Only ones small complaint. Seafood risotto was a bit bland with more fish and less seafood. Otherwise the food was first class. Loved the orange souflee with bitter chocolate. Ambience is just incredible. Feels like you're inside a Jeeves and Wooster or Agatha Christie novel

Very happy with our weekend at the Royal. The service is first class and the food is just superb. Fine dining for sensible money. This was our second visit in 12 months and we will be back again for sure. Check in relax and enjoy.

This was just an overnight stay at The Royal. We are regular visitors, occasionally overnight or for lunch. As always the welcome was warm and the hotel's ambience is always elegant but gentle. Our room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful garden and sea views. Dinner was perfection served by pleasant and experienced staff whose attention to detail never fails....

From the warm and caring welcome to checking out, we were treated to the highest levels of service. The room was cosy and well equipped with a luxurious bathroom. The menu was both inventive and lovingly prepared; a real delight!

We have stayed at the Royal before and loved it so took advantage of the special Valentine night's deal of overnight accommodation with a 4 course dinner, plus full English breakfast, and it was a bargain. The room was clean and comfortable, decorated in period style with a modern twist, lovely big bed, nice bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The evening...

Again the food was incredible, the staff so helpful and friendly but where was the the special Valentines evening? I have spoken to the manager and he's agreed the evening was...

We have just come back from a Valentines' Weekend away here and we loved every minute. The room was just the right size and very very clean. We overlooked the front of the hotel and it was extremely quiet. Everywhere was well decorated and recently refurbished. The bar was brilliant. The barman, Rob, was so switched on. When he wasn't...
