What a fabulous little hotel!! Sitting on the esplanade in Ventnor with wonderful views of the coast this B&B hotel was just fantastic. The hosts Bob and Esme were quite delightful and couldn't do enough for their guests. Delicious breakfasts and comfy rooms - what more could you want? We recommend the quirky room 6 in the tower with its...

We were a small family group staying for 3 nights during the week. We had rooms 1 and 3, both of which were comfortable and well furnished, with good views of the sea from their (opening) first-floor windows. Bon and Esme were perfect hosts, friendly without being intrusive. The breakfast is mostly very good; a lovely pot of tea and...

We stayed for 3 nights and chose the Tower Room (no. 6) Stunning view, really lovely room. The huge private bathroom is downstairs. It felt like we were staying in a flat. Spotlessly clean. Esme is a perfect hostess. Very welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious. I had something different each day as there was so much choice. The sunny...

Stayed in the Tower room (6) for 3 nights. Fantastic sea views. Clean, modern, spacious room with widescreen TV and free WiFi. Bob and Esme were fantastic hosts,. Friendly, helpful, knowledgable, attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is served between 8-10am but no need to commit to a certain time (my pet hate). Great choice of...

As I have arthritis I usually prefer a room with a bath, in this instance I would happily have had a room with a shower. Please do not choose room 5 if you wish to use it for more than a fleeting resting place during the evening. I was not expecting a full sea view, although the close proximety to...

This place is perfectly located, close to the beach and also close to the main street where some of the better restaurants are. We had the tower room, #6, and one has a great view over the ocean from that room, comfortable bed. The bathroom on the floor below is very spacious. Parking right in front of the house. Breakfast...

A lovely Victorian Italianate Villa style hotel overlooking the seafront. Large rooms, very clean with all conveniences. The breakfasts are wonderful and there is a large choice. The owners are very relaxed and friendly yet not intrusive. We went for 6 days in June for my birthday and certainly hope to revisit.

Just returned from another lovely 4 night break here. Such a lovely place to return to. We booked the tower room which was intriguing as it is over 2 floors with the bathroom underneath the bedroom joined by a private staircase. So much character in this place and the little touches are so nice. Fabulous sea views and well kept...

My wife and I enjoyed a superb five night stay at St. Augustine Villa in July 2014 and It is remiss of me not to review it until now! We loved staying in the top room of the Tower, a bit of a climb but very well worth it, plenty of individual character and a great view of the harbour....

Just returned from our eighth visit to St. Augustine Villa for a four night break. Bob and Esme were as usual great hosts, Bob's breakfasts were lovely and kept us going through the day. We were lucky to have been able to book our favourite room 7 which has a four poster bed and great views of Ventnor harbour. Thanks...
