Enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff who operate this hotel. The room was spacious, well equipped (plenty of good sized towels), very clean and the bed was comfortable. The food was very good, there a good selection on the breakfast menu, thoroughly enjoyed the "full English" and the evening meal was also... More

We booked the hotel without looking at reviews and couldn't have been happier. David, the owner met use as we arrived, offered to carry our bag to our rooms and along with his staff made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were lovely, really big, spotlessly clean and well appointed. In fact I've stayed in, so called, 5... More

This was our second visit to St Maur's although we have been visiting the Island for many years. St Maur's is above all else a very friendly hotel. The host David has no pretentions; what he aims to do and succeeds in is providing varied, wholesome, well cooked traditional food for English taste. Plenty of choice on the breakfast and... More

Our room was huge with dual aspect Windows, both with views of the distant sea. Large bathroom with super efficient shower (didn't try the bath), loads of towels, two heated towel rails and spotlessly clean. The food was excellent with a great choice and loads of it, and very high quality. If you didn't fancy what was on offer they... More

St maur is a lovely Victoria B&b. I stayed in one of the deluxe rooms, it was huge with a beautiful ball and claw bath and large shower. The views from the bedroom window is wonderful and looks out to trees and the sea. The staff are helpful and friendly and had some good information about local places to go.... More

This was our second visit to St Maur. We took a short break during a sunny weekend in August. This place is a hidden gem. The host David is both friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate as is the rest of the property. The gardens was in full bloom and kept to perfection. The food is homemade, wholesome and... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights and I would have happily stayed longer. I liked the hotel because it had a sitting room and bar room for guests to sit in which was nice to sit in of an evening. The hotel also has a cosy and warm feeling. I believe this is a perfect venue for families/couples... More

My wife and I stayed at St. Maur for one night on Saturday 30th July following a last minute booking. David was a fantastic host, and kindly upgraded us to a sea view (and very generously sized) room at no extra cost following a request for a quiet room. We loved the features of the self-service bar, relaxing lounge and,... More

We had a superb five-day break at St Maur. We stayed in the deluxe room which must be one of the most spacious and comfortable rooms to stay in on the island. It has lovely views towards Ventnor Park and the sea beyond as well as a very pleasant balcony that can be enjoyed at all times of the day.... More
