Detailed Reviews
We were in Room One at the backend of the premises which does not have a view but we were far from disappointed with the accommodation. The fittings were of a high standard.
There is a large room which includes a large double bed, a table, and two chairs, and a settee. There is a small separate kitchen with a fridge, microwave and a couple of hot plates and a large shower room (no bath).
Our one criticism is that the TV (which had Sky channels including sport) could not be viewed from the settee which meant you had to sit on the bed to watch TV. Suggest the room is reconfigured as most people watch TV from a comfortable chair/settee.
The location is fantastic at the best end of the very long promenade with the main town centre and shops a few minutes walk. It is also close to the ferry terminal. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
We were originally due to visit in June 2020 but the pandemic prevented travel. We're glad we made the trip in 2021.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Town House. The cosy apartments are very well equipped and wifi was excellent. The view out to see was a delight and despite the ongoing roadwork along the promenade, we had no problem parking each night at no cost. It was a delightful base from which to explore the isle of Man and we would highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel right on the front with amazing views.
Hotel is immaculately clean and very quiet, perfect for families.
The rooms and front doors are keyless and operated by codes which isn’t a problem, just take a photo of the welcome letter on your phone before heading out.
Will definitely stay again!
The hotel itself doesn’t have a restaurant or bar but there is a lovely place next door for meals (including breakfast). We were told you could bill back to the room but we chose to pay as we went.

Room Tip: Parking would be quite difficult as the spaces were always full. We didn’t have a car with us though

Just returned from a four night stay at The Town House . We were in a ground floor bay fronted suite/ apartment with sea views . It was excellent . The sitting room had a kitchen area where we could self cater if we wished . Very comfortable traditional furnishings . The bedroom was spacious with a huge comfortable bed .
The staff were very friendly & helpful . I would recommend .

Great range of pillows. I hate sleeping away from home as I can never get comfy without my own pillow. But had no problems here.
I love the fact I have space to feel like I'm not in a hotel. And being able to self cater and have a mini kitchen is brilliant.
I eat alot and being able to make my own food and not have to eat out every night helps!!

Have now stayed in the Townhouse a few times due to work. The welcome I always receive is second to none. The staff are amazing and so accommodating from complimentary food, extra bedding and amazing house keeping service. They make your stay very personal to you. The rooms are stunning, immaculately clean and well equipped. The dining in the coast is amazing also. Food is just amazing. I always look forward to staying here. So just want to say a massive thank you and hopefully see yous soon.

Very clean if somewhat impersonal establishment. Would have got a 5 star if there had been heating. My wife & l found the apartment on the cool side. Never saw another person whole time we were there. Also, 11am checkout proved a tad tight. The extra hour until noon would have been very beneficial, to do some last minute shopping.

Thank you for your feedback Richard. I'm really sorry you felt cold in the apartment, as it was an unusually warm couple of weeks our central heating was off, but we have plenty of heaters available and would have given you one if you had asked for it during your stay. With regards to 11am check out, all our apartments are quite big and we need to make sure there is enough time to thoroughly clean them after each departure, however we do allow later check outs when there is no further arrival in the same room on the day and we can always store your bags for you after or before check out/in. We would have happily given you a later check out should you have mentioned it. We hope to welcome you back again.

We returned to The Town House for a 3 night visit to the Isle of Man at the end of March 2015.
2 adults 2 children - stayed in the exact same room as last time and it was just as great this time. We arrived 4hrs before check in with the hope to leave our bags while we visited relatives but our room was ready and we were shown straight up - Thank you!!!!
Room is so spacious (especially with an 9&6 year old) everything was spotless and clean.
The location is perfect, so close to shops and right on the promenade.
The movie channels and free super wi-fi was a godsend when it came to bedtime for the children.
Cant recommend The Town House enough!

We had a really good few days staying in the Town House particularly enjoying the comfort, warmth and luxury of our apartment. All our possible requirements were provided for, the large bed was very comfortable, the thick white towels were ideal and the arrangement of the spacious furniture was much appreciated.
Possibly one issue that might be important for others is the lack of a lift as our apartment was on the third floor.

I was looking for a place for only two nights when I came across the town house
I normally stay at hotels but wanted a change
There are so many good points I would like to say about the town house that it will take too long to type on my mobile
Staff are great, not too much in your face and just right amount of helpful advice from staff
The rooms / apartment are much larger than the photos would suggest
Yes you have to figure out the parking with the IOM disc system but you can do it, just
The place is really clean and first impression was brilliant ( apart from someone smoking on the front step)
The little food pack is great but still can’t understand when booking . Com says it’s full breakfast when the town house does not do this
The owner / manager was so nice and as I said all the staff were great.
I would recommend this to anyone Business or holiday , forget about the typical hotel room and check this place out
We will be back at the town house again
Well done guys

The town house does not have a restaurant of its own,but The Claremont next door I am sure will do an afternoon tea,as will any number of the hotels on the island
Hi
I am very sorry but the Town House is a Victorian terraced house and we have steps up to the hotel and narrow corridors so it is not really suitable for a scooter.
Kind regards
Jon
