We booked on line-as the photos looked OK- we paid for a seaview room but it was smaller than we had expected. There is a lift . We stayed for 7 days but didn't eat in the restaurant in the evenings. The breakfasts were good if you liked full english or the equivalent.

From the moment you step in the door you get a friendly welcome. The room had a fantastic view of the bay and is very comfortable. The restaurant must be the best chinese food I have tasted & I have travelled the world. Nothing was too much trouble in fact the manager went out of her way to make us...

I think you get what you pay for here. Our room was facing the sea and even tho there was only two of us the room had a double and two single beds. Bathroom a little small but you don't spend all day in there. Breakfast was ok, didn't eat in the Chinese restaurant at night so can't comment on...

Spent 4 days (3 nights) here in Douglas, our first impressions were the place was very dated, and in need of bringing into the 21st century, the furniture was falling to pieces. My wife and I are in our sixties, and they put us on the top floor, next to the Staff Toilet and Shower Room, with no view, apart...

Great location, lovely views, clean and comfortable. Nice breakfasts and free wifi is a plus. The parking is roadside, so you don't always geet right in front, but usually pretty close. There is a lift, but it is small! It says it would hold 4 people, but thats being generous! The breakfast staff were very friendly, but the lady who...

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my 50 birthday. The hotel was basic, but the bonus was the restaurant. How could you not love it. We pigged out on the first evening and had a set meal............so much food, all excellent. The other nights we had to pace ourselves! We would go back just for the food,...

Lovely stay here for 5 nights. Were welcomed as soon as we got out of the taxi and shown straight away to our room. On first impressions thought it smaller than expected but well equipped. Plenty of drawer and hanging space. Cleverly done bathroom that had very good shower and shampoo and shower gel sachets replaced daily of good quality....

This is an old Victorian built Hotel along the promenade, as are many others, but this is showing signs of wear & tear. I could hear floor boards creak any time people moved around the building, however, once the creaky lift doors had closed it carried me easily up & down & whilst in my room I could not hear any...
