Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First time to Isle of Man for the TT - first time therefore at this campsite Negatives …. Campsite toilets and showers not kept clean, and far too little for the numbers Queue at times was horrendous for the men’s and then greated by unpleasant, dirty toilets. The urinals had urine lying in the system so smelly and horrid. At time absolutely disgusting Bins over flowing Men peeing in the bushes the site is supposed to have a quiet time after 11pm - not adhered too and many still had cars running, lots of noise - no chance of sleep! Far too many tents for the facilities Bar - not enough staff but prices fair. Positives - good location was the only positive What a shame to write such a honest negative review

Great location but not a pleasant place to stay. Not enough toilets and showers and didn’t seem to get cleaned very often, sometimes no hand towels in the ladies for 3 days so no one can have been checking them. I was the only female in the shower one day and a man walked in and wandered around the communal ladies changing rooms whilst I was in the shower- I felt very vulnerable and unsafe, he then wandered off after I said 3 times that someone was in the shower. We also had a battery pack stolen whilst in the reception and no one was bothered, others had phones stolen too. Men were using the bushes as toilets behind our tent. Definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Excellent organisation and bar staff but lack of toilets/showers and the tents crammed In just wasn’t good enough. First part of the week the bins were always emptied but as race week came the bins all around the site were overflowing with rubbish. One way system was a good idea but not managed due to bikes parking all over the place. Bar to small to cope with race week numbers and pizza van was a joke. Burned outside cold in the middle. They need to book less people in or will start to loose numbers.

Stayed here for a long weekend in the camper £11 per person and extra because we are staying in the camper £80 with no hook up expense for that. Hot clean showers didn't use the bar. Can't see me returning in a hurry.

Have been staying at Quarterbridge for a number of years now & have to say that the facilities have got better year on year. Food was amazing this year (not to mention the Strongbow Dark Fruit cider!). Arrived home to Northern Ireland at 4 a.m. on the Sunday after the meeting was over & had ferries & campsite booked for TT2020 by 4 p.m. that evening. See you next year guys!

Stayed here for the last 5 years and every year they improve on the facilities. This year they'd put in extra showers/toilets, which were always hot! They'd covered over the outside decking area, which was great cos the weather was pretty dismal, and the food choices were much improved. All the staff and volunteers were very helpful... as always! Doubt theres a better campsite on the IOM, not just for camping, but for watching the racing and for being close enough to walk into Douglas for shopping and entertainment. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for the TT with a group of 20 friends celebrating my 50th! Facilities were good considering the number of pitches. We paid extra for the paddock which was worth it. On race days you have to walk through a stream to get across the road which was fun! Food served in the club was good wholesome grub.hit the spot! The showers were good, hot if you timed it right (early afternoon was quieter) Bar prices were reasonable & was never packed. I would definitely recommend this site.
