A lovely place to stay. June could not be more helpful and her breakfasts are amazing. I had a specially prepared vegan cooked breakfast every morning, - different home made recipes every single day. Even soya milk for tea making in my room. A wonderful B&B.

My wife and I felt like we might be taking a bit of a risk trying to find veg-friendly lodging on the Isle of Man, in a fishing town. But we were so happy to have stayed at the Fernleigh with June. She is one of the nicest people we met on our travels, going out of her way to... More

Lovey single room on the second floor with fantastic views over the harbour. Clean, comfortable single bed, fresh towels. Not ensuite but shower and loo very close and while I was there not used by anyone else as many other rooms are ensuite. Excellent cooked breakfast, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts also available. Hosts very friendly. What more can you want... More

Very clean rooms, excellent views (from room 6) ...lovely breakfast served efficiently. Helpful but unobtrusive service. Well done... will go again. Makes an excellent base to explore the island using the efficient bus system and is located close to some very nice restaurants situated a 5 minute stroll to the other end of the promenade.

Stayed here with 3 friends cycling around the IoM. We had single and twin ensuites at rear of the property which were very clean and comfortable. Obviously if you want a sea and sunset view book the front facing rooms. Safe and dry storage for our bikes was appreciated too. Breakfast offers (hot & cold) are varied each day and... More

This is a beautiful location at the quiet end of the promenade with fabulous views of Peel Castle and the Irish Coast in the distance. Sadly, our room was at the back, but we took our wine to sit on the bench in front of the hotel each evening, and enjoyed chatting to the friendly locals. If they thought we... More

The room we had did have a good sea view and the facilities were OK. Breakfast was fine too. Good location for Peel Beach and castle. However, unfortunately this is an original Edwardian or Victorian building with lots of stairs and of that era. The stairs were too much for my partner who had arthritis. On the plus side, great... I had a very pleasant two night stop at the Fernleigh, and the single room had a wonderful view of Peel Castle & harbour. The hotel and area are quiet and peaceful, and only a short walk from the centre of Peel. The owners could not have done any better. Thanks a lot.
