The Isle of Man Family History Society is based in Peel if you pop in iomfhs with .im at the end it's the web address I can't send you the link in this message - they're open Wed & Sat 2-5pm. They also have a Facebook page which is a good interaction. Beal isn't a common Manx name so it should be easy to find. Also the electronic Manx Museum, now as the imuseum has photos and the census.
Where are you staying whilst on the island?
