The Isle of Man Family History Society is based in Peel if you pop in iomfhs with .im at the end it's the web address I can't send you the link in this message - they're open Wed & Sat 2-5pm. They also have a Facebook page which is a good interaction. Beal isn't a common Manx name so it should be easy to find. Also the electronic Manx Museum, now as the imuseum has photos and the census.
